This item broke after one use. Garbage product! Dp not purchase!

This is a replacement. The previous seat simply cracked without misuse. I contacted American Standard and even though it was out of warranty by ~ 4 months, AS agreed to send a brand new replacement for free...that’s awesome customer service and adherence to product satisfaction. I will definitely purchase American Standard

Defective all around. I waited months for nothing.

The product is as expected, easy to install, serves the purpose.

I bought 3 of these about 6months ago and installed them in my guest bathrooms.  When our home was built the builder used another brand but I wanted to use American Standard since the toilets were american standard they look nice but do not fit well and seem to slide or move while being sat on the fasteners come loose, and it is embarrassing, to think that my guests are having this problem. It is also annoying to constantly retighten them. When I purchased them I expected an American Toilet seat would fit my existing toilets. I have one that has not been changed out, so I wonder, if this Laurel seat won't fit what style will ? 

Bought a toilet as well and info provided on your website gave me all the information I needed for installation. Always look to Home Depot for advice from your employees as well as your product base both online and in store.

I ordered the seat in store with the help of a HomeDepot employee. They were extremely helpful and found the exact item needed and placed the order. The seat matched the style & color (linen) that I needed. The American Standard seat was easy to install.

This toilet seat is well made and sturdy. The color matches perfectly with an American Standard toilet of same color (linen). However, I did not find the seat that easy to install. difficult to get the nuts on, without being able to see what you are doing under the toilet. But I think this is a good toilet seat.

A nice looking, robust seat. Color matched our toilet quite nicely. Installed easily, but either our bowl is off kilter or the seat is not quite level, but it rocks a tiny bit. It isn't a problem when you put weight on it, however.

Product features commoudious design and accomodates all sizes. Evacuation is facilitated by sleek continuous flow features. Reading and meditating are are enhanced by comfortable sleek form fitting curvature. Just elegant.

This toilet seat is comfortable and it functions as it should. No complaints. Shipping was quick and reasonable.

This is a heavy seat, so if it slips from your hand, it will drop heavily. On the other hand, you do not get that cheap plastic feeling. It also feels very comfortable. It was used on another brand of toilet, and it fit perfectly. It was very easy to install. I had installed another Laurel a few years ago on another toilet, and it is still in great condition.

No issues with this lid. It appears to be durable and matches with existing toilet.

Already fell apart and had to replace. This product is junk!

An absolute perfect fit replacement seat. Easy to assemble and install. Much higher quality than the one I had originally.

If HD had given me the option of a slow closing seat in the right color, I would have spent more and gotten what I really prefer. This one is basic and "just OK."

The plastic flex hinge on the original seat failed (14 years - not bad) and this is the molded wood replacement for the OEM seat. This has regular type hinges - much better. Despite what this website says (Internet only) I found it in stock at my local store. Took less than a minute to install it. Since I didn't know what size the toilet required (elongated or round) I at first got the wrong (elongated) one. Here's a tip - measure from the bolt holes to the forward edge of the bowl - if it is about 16" - you need a round seat. If it is about 18" - an elongated one. Also the price at the local HD store was $1 less than online - go figure.

It is a wooded seat cover, and heavy. When I clean sometimes it slams on my hand.

We are replacing the same type of seat that we installed approx. 4months previously. We hope that the first one was defected as it cracked on the one side and seperated, which we never had happened before. If this one does the same, will switch to a differant brand to use, not only in my house but our rental units when the toilets need to be replaced.

I received the toilet seat fairly quickly, but when I opened it the front of the seat had a crack in it. Also, the oval shape of the seat portrayed in the picture looked like it would match my toilet but it didn't as the seat was completely round. Of course, I sent it back. I just hope they don't just throw it back on the shelf and sell it to some other customer.

I had to take the first one back since it had a defect in the lid from the manufacturer. Now the 2nd one closes on you every time you put the seat up. Horrible!!

Added the extra clean sparkle I wanted for the holiday guests.

There aren't many options in the color 'Linen'. This was the least costly. It looks fine.

I love the color and the quality of the product. My only problem is that when the toilet seat cover is open, it hits the flush lever on my toilet. I ordered a round cover, which is what all my other covers were. There were no problems with the others hitting the lever. This is really annoying. I'm thinking about taking my old round oak cover, priming it and painting it black. I still have my receipt, so I'm thinking of returning this purchased item.

Purchased this item for a guest bath. Looks nice and is sturdy.
