The guys installing this didn't have any trouble. It is a very good looking tub. I chose it because of the lineal design on the side and am very pleased with how it looks. It has some personality! This tub is deeper than my other one, which I didn't realize, but I like it.

Disappointed
I had told the Home Depot salesperson I wanted a deep soaking tub and he recommended this one after seeing the 19+" depth in the description, assuring me that it was a soaker tub. I special ordered it in time for a complete bath renovation that was already scheduled. The installer did not have a hard time installing, but on my first fill-up I realized it is barely deeper than a regular tub...On their brochure description, I think it is 11 1/2" water depth. The actual measurements inside the tub are 25" wide at the top, but the allowance for arm rests makes it less than 21" under the butt It is 49" long on the floor to the backrest, and 12" to the overflow opening. The difference goes into the part that is supposed to carry the pipes for Jacuzzi jets, ridge above the armrests and flange. I would imagine that the water would have trouble staying in the tub if a whirlpool was installed at this depth. The only thing I've gained is armrests, very little deeper water, and now that I paid to purchase and install it, I am stuck without the big improvement my back and I were looking for of a soaker tub in my master bath. Incidentally, the tub is narrower than the old one that was removed. They refer to it as a Whirlpool and Bathing Pool...must be for toddlers? As a frame of reference, the tiles above the flange are just under 10" x just under 13". A mistake for me...I suggest that you only buy a tub that you can look at and climb into in the store. Also, read the small print VERY carefully, not trusting that the sales person knows any more than you do. I gave it three stars because it does look well constructed and pretty...my personal physical satisfaction has it more at a 1 or 2 at most. Very disappointed that I used it in a very expensive bathroom renovation. The review site won't let me upload the photos, so I guess I can't have a chance to win the $1,000 to recoup some of my bad investment. It reads 504 Gateway Time-out. Welcome to Home Depot??

Very attractive bath tub.
This tub is attractive and looks nice in my bathroom. It is deeper than my old tub so is nice to soak in. The installer commented that it is a really nice tub and he had no issues installing it. I am happy with this item.

The online description of this product desperately needs to be improved!!!
First the tube is actually constructed as a Jacuzzi tube but this particular model obviously does not contain the jets, pipes and motor. However, all of the preparation and installation requires you to do all the same things that a Jacuzzi would require. For example, you are expected to install the tube on a bed of cement about 5 inches deep and 24 inches wide to support the tube, which is raised above the floor for pipes. The framing for the tube for a new installation was not adequately described in the instruction manual and required me to measure every aspect of the tube and redo the framing I originally installed based on the manual.
Unfortunately I purchased this tube online without the benefit of the full description of the tube and not knowing all the details of the installation, which I think Home Depot needs to upgrade. So the high price of the tube and the problems encountered during the installation made this tube the worst possible choice I could have made.

Great Looking tub
This is a great looking tub with style. The instructions advise you to mount the tub on mortar bedding for stability but me being me instead of using mortar I made a wooden platform for the tub to sit on and works well and less mess.

WARNING: NOT a normal bathtub!
I ordered this tub thinking it was just a standard bath tub. I looked over the dimensions and noted the depth but thought little of it (I just thought it would be good for soaking in after a long day at work). My installer pointed out to me that it is meant to be used as a whirlpool tub! It requires a mortar bed to be made and to say the least that sounded complicated (my installer said 2 wks minimum). He also told me that the material was such that after a few years it would most likely start to crack unless the install was 100% perfect...So if you are a DIY person or just looking for a regular tub steer clear of this item!

Great Tub
This tub is very good for a narrow space. We only had 30 inches of width to work with and had trouble finding a tub that narrow that still looked good and was deep enough. This tub looks and acts like a "big" tub in a small space. The access panel is also a very nice feature. If you need a 30 inch wide tub this is the only one to choose. Also free shipping was great it came right to my doorstep!!!
