This wall plate has a very nice and elegant look to it. The wall plate installs very easily to the existing wall switch box. The finish is very durable and should last for a very long time. I installed this within 5 minutes of its arrival because the plastic one in my kitchen was so bad...
I installed this within 5 minutes of its arrival because the plastic one in my kitchen was so badly scratched up it looked terrible. This was a real improvement. Looks nice, well made, fit perfect. Only thing is the shiny, mirror like, surface shows all the fingerprints so it will need to be wiped frequently if its in a high traffic area. But the brass color is really pretty. I would bet more for electrical plug areas where less handling occurs.

The Amerelle bright polished brass colored wall plate has a very nice finish. The plate itself has a heavier feeling then the cheap ones I have encountered in the past from other manufacturers. Installation was similar to other switch cover plates with two screws included that match the finish of the plate. The only problem I encountered was that I felt the screwdriver slot seemed a little shallow. the screwdriver kept slipping out.
