Look at something else. Difficult to install drain. Had to buy flex drain from manufacturer. Cost $22 for part and roughly $20 shipping. However, the company waived shipping and sent a replacement free of charge when installer damaged the first drain. The tub is held in place by caulk, no clips.

I was very happy with this. It was much bigger than I had anticipated, but I LOVE IT! I really wish they would have guided me to all the connecting pipes. I guess I feel that they should be included and/or detailed guidelines should be given to what pipe fittings I should have for this tub. It took us about three days and many, many trips back and forth from Home Depot to find the correct pipes. :-( It was so frustrating!!!

the width of the tub's basin narrows from 21" to 16" near the drain. I returned this tub, since it's too narrow inside to sit in this tub comfortably. would be great if specification would explain exactly what dimensions the tub has inside on the bottom

Too big & installation kit not included
For a small bathroom in a prewar building it's too big (we had to return it). Also, make sure your plumber checks installation specs in advance, we had to purchase p trap from manufacturer and it was just a waste of time and money. Otherwise, if you can, better take a built-in cast iron tub.

      Beautiful Tub
Does have arm rest so it makes it narrow inside but over all for a tall person a great tub.

        Nice freestanding tub
There is very little information online about how to install this free standing tub. I had a hard time knowing how to tell my plumber to proceed with plumbing as the online description didn't give specifications for the drain or faucets or anything. FYI - It is a side drain - like a normal tub. The faucet can be placed in many spots - YOU HAVE TO DRILL YOUR OWN HOLES for the faucet setup. Some people may opt for the old clawfoot type filler that isn't attached to the tub. I had holes drilled in this tub for faucet mount and it worked great. Also, you'll need a flexible hose type drain. It's the only way to install the tub. The tub is really nice - it's a great shape and looks fresh and modern. My only disappointment is where the arm rests are located. The widest part, which would be comfortable for your arms to rest on, is located too far back in the tub. It's a minor thing, but is my only complaint now that it's installed.

        Tremendous Value!
I have a licensed General and Plumbing Contractor 35 years running. I was concerned about the structural integrity of a freestanding tub in fiberglass. Not to worry! When the plumbing connections are made and the inner shell is dropped into the outer one the whole unit is very stable. Very simple and straightforward for assembly and installation. Two hours start to finish.
