These do the job well -BUT- if the designer would have made them 1/16" - 1/8" larger in OD they would hold the balusters up while you set the upper rail... trust me - THIS IS IMPORTANT! This small lack means a 'one man job' needs a helper to help ensure the balusters don't tumble off the deck while you install them. (NO, I was not trying to set an entire section before installing the upper rail... but I have seen installations with competitor's product that DO HOLD AN ENTIRE SECTION IN PLACE! For .25 cents more plastic these could have done that as well... and believe me it's cheaper to pay that .25 (or 2.50!) per bag than to hire a helper just to hand you balusters and retrieve the 'jumpers' that tumble out. These do the job - are inexpensive in product cost and workable but do increase your labor costs. NOTE - dab some black, polyurethane caulk on the TOP baluster connectors before you set the rail fully down. This simple step will reduce / eliminate any rattling should the railings "crown" the wrong way & will eliminate 'call backs' to 'fix' this.

Once you have everything laid out just screw them in and begin to install the tubes. The product comes with the connectors, oval washers for stair railings and round washers for general course runs. There were no instructions and I went to the manufactures website to learn what everything was for. The washers are included to keep the baluster tube off pressure treated wood to prevent any chemical reaction with the metal in the tube. Use caution when driving the screws into the wood rail that you don't over tighten the connector and crush it.

There were not enough fastballs and screws to complete the project. I had to order more fastballs and screws.
