This gives the light fixture a nice finished look. I made a hook from a piece of coat hanger and the installation was easy.

VERY SATISFIED!
This is an excellent product for the price. I saw others that were 3 times the price, but this was easy to install, looks amazing, and looks expensive. Very happy with this purchase!

Excellent value and advice on those pesky springs
Very pleased with the product and the greatly improved appearance of the fixtures compared to before.
If you have more than a few of these to install, do yourself a favor and look into the Klein ST6 Spring Tool. It is available from Home Depot by online order for about $8 and is designed specifically to wrangle those awkward springs. I made my own tool from coat hanger wire after looking at the Klein tool and it changed the installation from a fussy curse-worthy task into a breeze.

Great value and good quality.
Installation difficult due to springs "flip flopping" while trying to hold baffle and trim ring in place. Threading a toothpick thru the spring and then taping toothpick to inside of baffle (with masking tape) to hold spring rigid and sorta vertical solved issue as it was easy to grab spring stem with needle nose pliers and hook to slot in light can. Installed 12 in less than an hour, and they look great.

Excellent baffle
This baffle is excellent. I bought a similar one in the store that was over twice the cost, was all plastic, and came with only 1 trim ring. This baffle is steel and comes with two trim rings, one narrow and one wide which worked perfect for me as I needed the wide to hide some of my sloppy drywall cuts for the recessed lighting. Again, an excellent value especially considering i needed 24 of them.

nice replacement product
I had 12 can lights with cheap builders quality trims. These where a prefect replacement for those and a number of new can lights I installed. Really recommend. The black interior with the white baffle look really great. Easy to install. A+

Great alternative to replace older trims rings.
The product comes with two different size trim rings, which makes it great for replacing older trim around recessed lighting. One ring is normal size, the second added almost 3/8 inch around the entire outside diameter. The only drawback was the brighter texture of the plastic, simple spray paint could easily tone it down to the flat appearance of most ceilings.

meet every expectation & a better value than more expensive brand
a good valve & saved money due to cost over other brands . Easy install but careful of not to over streach springs. It was wise to send larger trim finish ring for opening to cover enlarged or rugged openings .

Great product - same as in store
Hi was price checking these 6 in. white trim with black baffle. The Halo brand in store was around $3 more than this different brand online. They are the same thing. Go with this. If you purchase enough you even get free shipping.

Inexpensive and has some metal!
All-Pro ERT707 has a metal baffle with plastic ring (actually 2 different sizes. At least you have something to change to when the plastic rings yellow from age/heat.)
Halo All-Pro model ERT714 is a plastic baffle and plastic ring. It doesn't say Halo anywhere on the box but is made by Cooper (same umbrella as Halo). I don't think the website should say it's Halo OR that it's metal. It's more expensive than the 707.
The branded Halo 6" black 310P is a heavy plastic baffle with a metal ring. Since it's white plastic rings that yellow, this might be a reasonable choice but is much more expensive.
Anybody's guess how to get ALL metal unless you buy 2 different models and put them together!
