Algreen products are of a consistently high quality in construction and design. I have the rain barrels as well as these large planters. The planters have rescued my hydrangeas from my many vampiric maple trees and they look really good. I highly recommend them.

Large impressive looking size! Lightweight for the size, inner tray so that it can be filled with soil halfway. I removed the rubber plug & drilled a few extra holes in the tray because this plant likes fast-draining soil. Used indoors, had to find a matching drainage dish to set the planter in. Composite planter material helps water retention by absorbing a slight amount of water, composite material will not degrade over time, functions similar to a clay pot but without the breakability and weight. Plants grow really well in this type of container. Algreen Valencia planters are my absolute favorite, sturdy, with never any defects in manufacture.

What is the height measurement? I am interested in purchasing for a different use.

Looks great, incredibly sturdy and lightweight even though it's quite large. Also, like that the hole in the bottom just had a rubber plug, which was very easy to pop out - no need to drill anything.

It is a nice planter. I have an identical planter in a smaller size. The smaller size looks much nicer, meaning more real, like actual terra cotta. Anyway, I was planning on using it in my living room, so I returned it. It would look very nice outside. Very we’ll made.
