Foremost the 18 x 18 vent was more than 20 inches at the frame - that was not mentioned in the description. So I returned it. If it had been the size I needed I would have still retuned it because several places where they shot the staples in it had split the wood so that it would not have held up well. Some of the gaps between face frame pieces were big enough to put a credit card in them.

It is a good product the only default on this is you have a rough opening of 18" diameter with no play of wiggle room once installed you have to caulk or frame around it to cover up rough opening, vent is the same size as the rough opening

Used for outdoor bar . Was affordable and serves it’s purpose as a gable vent . Needs to be sealed and stained or painted .

Looks good. Powerful smell of cedar which is an excellent outdoor wood. Size is accurate. I would have given it five stars if the wood was more clear of knots. But they don’t detract from structural integrity. Overall I am satisfied and would recommend these gable vents. They look quite nice. A beautifying element for a building.

Not a fault to the maker exactly. I am in need of an 18" OD circular vent for my home. The description says 18" x 18", in store or on line. This is completely false. The OD of this vent is 20". I made trips to the store to buy, and wound up ordering on line with the help of a store manager to make sure the CORRECT vent was ordered and it showed up as the same thing you can pick up from the store. I am frustrated and very disappointed in the description and help that was provided to get the wrong OD vent yet again.

This product was beautifully hand crafted of what appears to be cedar wood. It took a bit of light sanding before staining to compliment my front door and am very pleased with the end result!

They came a little rough and required a LOT of sanding but otherwise they’re fine.

Pretty good. made of cedar, has a screen on the back. backside is a octagon. The round front was separated slightly from the round front but a tap with a hammer tightened it right up. No complaints.

Had an old vent in my house that was damaged in a storm. Ya'll had just the right size. Painted it and installed it in no time at all and now that part of the house looks new again. Great product.
