I bought this elsewhere (build dot com) back in November 2018. It arrived with the shade warped in five locations that I was never able to straighten out. Nonetheless, it served duty in my home office for over five years 40+ hrs/week without a major functional problem. The lamp is now randomly shutting off. Not awful longevity, not great. Would be better with a mechanical switch. Takes a certain kind of non-dimmable LED bulb to work properly.

Beware. I bought this model lamp from the rainforest river online store. Beautiful lamp. But it failed after about 14 months. The touch control died. After paying so much for a lamp, I repaired it myself and it lasted another five years before that dimmer died too. Today I'm shopping for new lamp and find here the one I'm sending to the landfill. You were warned... : )

Loved the lamp, easy assembly, it was just what I was looking for, worked fine initially , when I went to turn it on that very night…DEAD… nothing! vey, very disappointing . Had to take it apart and cart it back to the store, UGH!

Love the style. Tall and slim. Touch the base to toggle on and thru the 3 brightness levels. Got a dimmable LED bulb and the 3 way feature works great. Liked it so much, we ordered the 2 matching table lamps. Would definitely buy again.

This lamp didn't work correctly from the when i received it. I would touch the base and nothing would happen. I had to keep touching it in different areas and it still wouldn't light up! ridiculous.... would not recommend. Also does not sit well on carpet, it will lean.

I purchased 3 of these lamps to complete an apartment renovation: within a couple days, the first lamp went haywire flashing like a strobe — it's effectively useless unless you run a nightclub; the second lamp arrived entirely non operational and the lampshade appeared badly damaged/bent during shipping. The lamp stem also assembles slightly crooked. STAY AWAY from this expensive mistake!

This is a great lamp overall. It's modern and classy and has a 3-way switch, except that it's not a switch, all you have to do it touch any part of the lamp and it adjusts on/up/up/off. I can highly recommend it and am writing this review about to order a second one. There are two potential considerations: 1| Do not get this lamp if you have small kids, because it's touch sensitive even on the base and it'll probably drive you crazy after they bump into it for the umpteenth time. 2| The light is not really bright, even if you put in a 150W bulb like I did, which is above the specs. My 12'x20x living room definitely requires two. Maybe I'm just used to 400W torch/halogen lamps that can light up a whole room on their own, but just wanted to mention this.

I recently purchased two of these lamps and they are wonderful. Such a nice addition to my home. I was tired of overhead lighting. The touch on/off switch is great and the 3 different settings is also nice. I don't always want them super bright. It helps create ambience for different times of day and different moods. And they are a good price!!
