I was on my third summer using my trimmer. The trimmer probably had about 10 hours of use per summer. I was using for the first time this summer and it had been running for about an hour and half when the silver encasement cracked and a couple of pieces of the encasement fell off.

I purchased the TrimmerPlus hedge trimmer and I simply love it ! I can [ now ] complete my yard work like a professional landscaper in very little time. Excellent product !!!

I like having the ability to just swap the end of my trimmer and keep going. It cuts much thicker items than my smaller electric unit, and as it’s new, is very sharp teeth also. It’s angle adjustability is a very nice feature. I really like this unit. Will be investing in the company’s blower attachment in the future again for the convenience.

After trimming 300' of cedar hedge I can say it's well worth the money. The ability to angle the blade makes it possible to trim while standing in awkward positions, such as near ditches, trees, etc. I was also able to finally trim over onto the other side of the hedge which is otherwise not accessible. On the downside, the fabrication of the blades is very flimsy, I bent them by simply placing the unit on an angles surface, luckily, flimsy means it straightens out without much force. Also to consider, you MUST open the gear unit to add grease or the unit will melt. I added as much bearing grease as I could with great results.

Not really sure why but after 20 minutes of use first time out of box, it jammed up and would not cut. I took it back and got another kind of clipper Didn't trust it.

The hedge attachment started smoking and broke after roughly an hour of use. Complete piece of garbage. Don't buy it.
