When you remove the batteries, you will see a circular metal disk at the bottom of the flashlight. Remove the oxidation using 1,500 grit sandpaper on the flat end of a pencil. Lightly sand off the oxidation until the circular electrode is bright and shiny again. Then clean the circular electrode with 70% or higher isopropyl alcohol. Let dry. Your light should start working again.

I purchased the flashlight to help me with projects that I needed to work on while wearing gloves. I have other led flashlights that work great. When I got home, the flashlight did not work, I installed new batteries to ensure that was not the problem. No luck, I returned the flashlight, tried one more flashlight prior to taking it home, and it did not work either.

the light is great and i love i can use it with gloves on and that it has a stand.
