This light is replacing a CFL 120 W unit , now only 90 in use, but the Shine and glare off the Stainless Steel appliances is a bit much, but a perfect fit in the CR38 fixture. Watching online for more of a 75W soft white bulb as the overall replacement. Experimentation is the only name in the game. :-)

Bright replacement for PAR 38 flood that maintains the look of incandescent lens unlike the majority of LED bulbs on the market. Keeps the look that you are accustomed to, provides light, does not generate the heat of the incandescent and uses less electricity. Excellent bulb.

I am not happy with these. they did not even last me a year. I paid high price and they failed. I took it back to stores and they declined and asked me to contact manufacturer. the manufacturer also did not help. I wasted my money on these. I don't recommend it.

Replaced flood lights in motion sensing units (6 lights total). These look good and function perfectly. Instantly on, and are brighter than I expected.

Pros: Fast shipping, bright LED light Cons: Not soft white. I would say they are more in line with a CFL bright white. One bulb of the 8 I ordered doesn't work.

Finally an affordable LED flood light! These are very bright and do a great job of make the house bright and secure.

I recently purchased these LED bulbs to replace the halogen ones currently used in my living room. Easy to install and the illumination is wonderful. The bulbs are also dimmable which is important for me. If the product duration is accurate (22 years!), then this is one of the most economic purchases ever!1

Not dimmable! I should have read all the reviews before buying. Aside from that, these bulbs are good for the price, but the "soft white" is not as soft as some other Cree R30 (65W equivalent) LED's I've bought recently. The Cree bulbs were a perfect color match to the incandescent ones they replaced. This is a harsher white, which might appeal to some but not to me.

We replaced CFL's with these LED's and the brightness factor was significant.

No heat given off like a traditional incandescent. We just hope that it lasts as long as the projected claims on the package boast.

Good brightness, good energy savings, but questionable quality with 25% failure rate within 1 month. All LED bulbs were used approximately 30 hours.

Got these to replace cfl flood bulbs... I was surprised how much brighter they are.

The flood light bulbs are very bright, I originally bought this for our kitchen but didn't like how bright they were. They also put off some heat, I thought LEDs didn't get as hot as this bulbs do. I would recommend this for exterior use, they seem very durable, I used they for my patio. I also got this on sale 2-for $19.99 I would not pay more for this bulbs

The LED lights are much brighter and turn on instantaneously in our cold garage. Our CFL lights were really dim and took a while to reach full brightness in cold weather. Though more expensive LED lights are the way to go.

I really like the light output! Is very bright!!! The light color is perfect for my bbq area.

I used these to replace my halogen bulbs for my security light. They are extremely bright and work well. With as much as this light turns on these will pay for them selves in electricity savings. They were a good deal as a daily buy.

I'm pleased these lights fit the holders I have. Thew appear to give better coverage that the incandescents they replace. I sure I will see a savings using these bulbs around the pool this summer.

We needed more light in the kitchen and these bulbs did the trick.

The lights are so much brighter then the normal ones.

has decent color rendition and brightness, however in internet specs , does not say "Do not use with electronic controls such as motion sensors" , flickers and does not completely turn off. Placed in regular fixture and works fine!

I purchased this product to use it as recessed lighting in my basement over the top of my ping pong table. Thought it will illuminate the whole ping pong table area as I used two over two sides of the table but isn't to be so. May be they are not good for this purpose. I previously used 40W equivalent LEDs bulbs in the same area. These ones certainly provided more lighting but I did not get double the effect of a 40W equivalent. The quality seems to be good but I am going to have to add additional lights in my basement. these 90W equivalent did not help. used this produce for couple of weeks so far. I would not recommend these for the similar uses as what I got them for.

When you turn the light on the brightness is immediate. Seems to be good quality. Hope the energy savings are real.

So far so good. The bulbs are very bright and are at full brightness instantly. I hope that they last 10 years or better. I just wish that they were cheaper. I also replaced all of the recessed bulbs in the house.

I bought these because my wife didn't like waiting for the CFL's to warm up, these are bright instantly and I don't hear about it anymore.

This lights appears to be of good quality and hopefully will last. I have only had them installed for two weeks. Previously I had two 90W flood lights installed in this location. I installed two of these lights and the area is not as bright as with the 90W bulbs. My estimation is between 70% and 80% of the previous brightness. These bulbs are mounted 8 feet above the ground, as were the previous bulbs. The good side is they should save energy. I am recommending the bulbs because their rated lumens is below the previous lights.
