I am not a professional taper by trade, but I have done several full gut rehab houses and I reluctantly end up doing the taping myself. Usually after 3 days of taping I am ready to go insane! I hate taping! with a passion! I have been using Masterforce brand of taping knives up until yesterday when I decided to try out this knife, it seemed like the blade was a little stiffer than what I am used to using. And what a difference that little bit made! I am getting professional looking results now!

It is and does exactly what it supposed to do, it actually does nothing, you have to use it. Great quality for the $$$

Impossible to remove sticker left residue that crumbled into my mud. When your marketing team decides to put a nasty sticker on the face of a tool meant for delicate finishing work, maybe run that by your product design team first and see if they think that's a good idea. I now see that several reviews have complained about this all the way back to 2014. Fix it!

I'm giving this low marks first of all because it came with an annoying label that left a difficult to remove sticky residue on 50% of one side of the knife. I thought I was ready to go, but then had to spend several minutes with solvent and a rag in order to have a tool truly ready to use. The second down mark is because when I came here to write this review I see a price 25 cents cheaper than I paid in store. Come on, consistent pricing for in-store customers is basic fairness!

I'm very pleased with the stainless steel taping knife, I used the taking knife to apply joint compound to the ceiling area after I removed the popcorn ceiling.

Good product and spreads evenly. Little hard to get sticker off.
