I needed something to adapt a basic duplex outlet to be able to handle the bulky adapters that go with computers and still allow other low current devices to be plugged in. This did the trick. I've got three of the nasty adapters, one lamp timer and a pair of IPhone chargers plugged into this thing. And it could actually handle two more small plugs. The 6-outlet unit couldn't accomodate the larger adapters and still have space for small plugs. Exactly what I needed, with a Surge Protector thrown in as a bonus. The swiveling feature is a significant part of what makes this work well. It may look a bit goofy, but it's totally safe. Better than any of the alternatives I've seen - and I've really looked!

Easy to install, the swivel feature works great. able to plug in 8 items, and re covered against voltage overload.

Very easy installation with a medium screwdriver. A variety of plug/transformer sizes can be used without interfering with neighboring outlets. Nice design.

Consider a lock on the reset switch so that inquisitive little fingers can't turn off the outlet.

This product is great! The icing on the cake is that I got them on sales. It has plenty of outlets and I need it in my home office. I have 3 monitors, TV, cable modem, printer, backup drive, fan/heater, etc. Having this outlet allow met to separate all the wires mess. I have another one installed in my bedroom and since it swivels to the side, my bed can finally be pushed to the wall and not damage the table lamps I have.
