Plastic end insert broke after 4 months. Does not stay up. Poor design.

home depot: Doesn't a 20% approval rating over a several month period indicate that this substandard product should be taken off your shelves? I'm pretty good with DIY, but this shower rod is impossible to install with sufficient tension to stay up with even the lightest curtain. Wish I had checked the reviews before purchasing.

Unlike some of the other reviews -- I thought this was fairly easy to install. However -- My curtain rod is covered in rust and I have only had it a few weeks. It is really strange. We have a downward shower head with no splashing, and there is no way that water actually touches the rod. Therefore, it must only be from steam. A shower rod that rusts with mimimal steam..no thanks! Now I have to pay to replace this rusted rod. Waste of money and time. Poor surface plating.

I totally dislike this product. It does not hold! It is poorly made and is quite expensive for the such bad product. Its been only 5 days and it fell down 5 time. I though I was spending more to get a good tension rod but very disappointed. I don't understand why they would make something like this..uggg!!!!

Poorly made. Must be plastic inside screw drive because mine broke after 8 months just fell off the wall on day heard a crash. Tried to put it back up and the cheap plastic parts inside were broken that's why I wouldn't recommend. You get what you pay for not in this case. Only thing nice was design. Stop having china make plastic parts inside a shower rod that needs to hold up your curtains. Stay away from Glacier Bay Products, I had a faucet that was Glacier Bay and it started to rust and come apart wasn't 2 years old.

Horrible installation, extremely difficult to lock in place, kept falling down, not the "ease" it advertises. Cheap tension rods work far superior to this one.

This is an attractive shower curtain rod; however, installation was not as easy as it should have been. The twist end to tighten the rod against the tile all was difficult to get the proper tension on it. Got it done and hoping it stats okay.
