Have had for about 2 mos. now. Product came complete easy to set up and use. I have a 24 by 40 foot basement. It reduced my humidity from 80 % to 36% in about 2 days and has kept it at 36% unit is quiet and works as it should, now if it just last longer than my last unit (which was a different model only lasted 16 mos.) I will be a happy man. So far so good! Would recommend product at this time! p.s. Home Depot on line ordering was superb!

We were in need of a new dehumidifier as our current one was quite a few years old and the compressor kept freezing up. We decided to go from a 45 pint to a 72 pint model as we speculated that our old dehumidifier was overworked trying to keep our 4 room basement dry that includes a shower room and a laundry room. It was a success and our new model works fantastic. So much so, that it needed emptied within 3 hours of it's initial operation! Everything stays completely dry and it does a fantastic job. The unit is easy to operate and very light to move around if necessary. The continuous fan feature also helps to keep the air circulating within the basement as well. We couldn't be happier!! Thank you for such a great product and we will definitely recommend it in the future.

Humidity was so bad in our house we were always sick. Even the Dog. A doctor said there is way too much humidity in the house. Was there ever. The first day 4 full buckets and after a week we feel better sleep better and one bucket of water a day.

Very happy with this new dehumidifier. We have an old stone foundation basement which gets very damp in summer months. Our old unit finally gave out after many years, but what a difference this one makes. Runs very quite and very effective air circulation and humidity control. I researched many dehumidifiers before purchasing and this one sounded like our best match. The bucket size is perfect - large enough to collect a good amount of water, any larger would be too heavy to lift. I also needed one that can run at low temperatures without icing up which our old unit had trouble with. So far I am very happy with it, basement is nice and dry again. The only problem I've found is that, like most other units, the new design doesn't provide an outside handle or grip to slide the bucket out from the unit. It's a bit tricky to pull the bucket out, but once it's out far enough there is a handle inside to lift and carry it with. Not a big deal, but a better design for removing the bucket would make it easier. All around, it's an excellent choice.

Very easy to unpack and install. Basically pull unit out of box and plug in. Very efficient, last lowered RH in basement tremendously. Have to empty nearly everyday. Would recommend to others.

The dehumidifier runs quietly. However, it does fill up in 24 hours. I find the reservoir bulky and difficult to pull out.

Worked very well as soon as we plugged it in. Controls were easy to learn. It can take a tremendous amount of moisture out of the air. We bought it for use in the basement.

Bought a new Whirlpool dehumidifier to replace from 9 years old Whirlpool deumidifier. It runs well for finished basement. Hope this dehumidifier will run last longer. I would recommeded.

This Whirlpool dehumidifier has wheels, is lightweight and very portable. It is easy to empty and effectively removes excess moisture from the air.

Very easy to operate, quiet, working great and really getting rid of the humidity in an old, damp basement. Awesome hose hook up so no need to drain bucket.

This unit has not created a lot of heat in the room where it runs, operates well to keep humidity in range of setting. Does not seem to drive up electric bill like the last humidifier we owned.

Our last unit lasted 5 or 6 years and performed well. This one looks slightly different, but appears to be basically the same. Same specs. Last one acquired though a different retailer and cost a bit more. Lives in the basement, looks nice, runs quiet. I set it up on a workbench to get altitude for drainage, set the settings and forgot about it while having cataract surgery. Still going strong, and just had the second eye done.

The unit came packed well with easy set up instructions. It works very well pulling water from the basement we could tell a difference within several hours. The only area of improvement is a larger bucket to hold the water. I am emptying the bucket 3 and sometimes 4 times a day. I really liked that the unit arrived a day earlier than the projected time. keep up the good work

Really happy with how efficiently this dehumidifier made our basement un-basement-y. The auto cycle is a nice feature so that you don't need to monitor it, except to check if the tank is full. The only downsides I can see are that it runs kind of loudly and when on auto-cycle it will sometimes turn on and off a few times during a 30 minute period.

This dehumidifier collects droplets of water on the side vent grate and blows them onto the floor. When bucket is removed to empty, a stream of water often flows out of unit and onto base missing the bucket which has been removed. The fan motor sounds like it occasionally stalls momentarily. While the unit does a fairly good job of removing moisture from the air, I would not recommend it.

Works great. Just plugged it in and worked as expected. Keeping the basement nice & dry.

The dehumidifier is working great. Two years is about all other brands last, hope this one is better.

Easy to attached drain hose, so now only have to monitor filter cleanings. Will be buying a second one for home, as this one is doing a superb job at the store.

the unit is very easy to deal with and does a very good job of removing humidity however it is noisy and the fan runs most of the time.

Really a workhorse. Quiet, Did the job on a damp basement. Has been a very wet Spring and it really did the work. Makes it really enjoyable down there. Easy to set up and operate

I have used Whirpool for about 7 years. It works well,dependable and a great value for the money. I recommend this product.

I wanted a product made in the US that I could use continuously in my basement. I hooked this up to a hose to the floor drain, and it worked quickly and has continued to do so for a month. Home Depot delivered it in the timeframe they said, and the price was reasonable.

Setup was simple, easy & fast. It is not terribly loud; it is in our basement & we don't notice it upstairs. It is a little distracting though when I'm working in the same area. However it doesn't seem to pull moisture out of the air like a similar Whirlpool unit we had a few years ago. Our basement is not very damp and it runs continuously but only gets down to 39 - 40 %. A little disappointing

Looked several of these, reading reviews and comparing. Decided on the Whirlpool 70-pint to put in the middle of my 200 sq ft home with high humidity. After the 1st day could recognize the added comfort level and it was amazing to see how much water the unit pulled out of the air. It runs relatively smooth & quite comparative to the need. I would buy again, definitely.

Delivered yesterday and used it for a few hours in basement. Returned to find it pulled water but ran out of the bottom instead of into the bucket!

Functions as advertised - it dehumidifies well. Mostly convenient and easy to use. I do not expect the plastic bucket to last for years - it could be a bit easier to remove from the unit when emptying.
