These lights twinkle by ramdom spaced led which blink on and off. They are simple and do not have different programing. I used them on the front bushes and coverwd the tops with cotton batting in irregular shapes. It looked like snow and the glow from underneath was perfect. Many neighbors commented. This was just as easy to place as one of those projection lights with much better effect. I will be installing large arches next year using flexible pvc tubing and using these as open roofing. I also think they can be hung on that ugly suspended ceiling in the break room at work.

These lights work perfectly as the night sky behind my wife’s Christmas village display

We purchased these because we already had some and wanted a few more to cover all our shrubs. Love the effect. Were concerned that they came in a plain white box instead of the usual starry night box but they tuened out OK.

Had these lights before but several bulbs burned out.

These looked great and colorful but you'll need some hook, zip ties or tiebacks to hold them on the front face of larger bushes. We wanted to be able to see ours from the street so it makes sense to run down the face of the bush instead of throwing over the top. We used zip ties to hold them in place. I was wrongly under impression these twinkled (i.e. faded in and out) but they don't. Buy multiple, it looks better and you may need many to cover trees & bushes.

It worked fine, had a pretty color to it, true white. However, I've spent years looking for twinkling lights. I've only seen them in commercial applications and always wondered where to get that "random" look, as I don't like blinking lights, especially when you have multiple strands and they don't sync. I was ecstatic to find this set, and paid far more than I normally would, because it had been on my wish list and impossible to find, for so long! I put 1 set on a small bush and felt I had to "look" for the twinkler. Most passers by saw it as one solid string of lights.

We are very pleased with these lights. We have enjoyed their look and effect throughout the Holidays. Visitors have also commented how much they like them. We bought additional sets to add for next year. Great product at a good price.

The Starry Night Net Lights made our Christmas display look great. One problem is there are not enough extra replacement bulbs in the box. After buying over 11 boxes of the Starry Night Net Lights over a period of 3 years, we had to replace some burned out bulbs. We used all the replacements bulbs from the eleven boxes and some from one on the Starry Night Net Lights. We only could use 10 Starry Night Net Lights on our display this year. Yes, they say LED lights last longer than other bulbs but they do burn out.. There should be more replacement bulbs in each box. We contacted the Company on where to buy replacement bulbs. They responded but we are waiting to see if they send us more replacement bulbs or where we can buy them. Home Depot does not carry LED replacement bulbs for the Starry Night Net Lights.

Bought 6 sets last year 3 color and 3 white looked great last year. Just took them out and all 6 are not working tried to fix them no luck will never buy from this company again.

Do not buy this product. Complete garbage. Worked great the first season but 3 out of 5 sets didn't work the next. JUNK!!!!!!!!!

These are so bright. The colors so true. I have several sets of these. Added a few more for this season.I wish the starry bright made battery operated net lights to put on shrubs out of reach of plug ins. They last a very long time and well worth the price.

Too costly and didn't like what it does. There are others cheaper and do better show.kimbo

Splurged and bought 4 sets of the LED lights last year for our warm TX winter. Unfortunately, 2 sets aren't working and I even tried to replace the bulbs and the fuses. Not worth the money!

Do not buy Gemmy products otherwise known as light show products. They only last 2 seasons and then quit working due to rust on the wires leading to the LED bulb. Gemmy customer service cannot help you once they break. They are costly light set and to last for a short time is not worth the investment. LEDs last 50,000 hours and it should take more than 15 years of use. Look for General Electric brand which last for a long time. Starry night light set is amazing but I have owned 7 sets and they all break down after 2 seasons.

They fit the bush better than I thought. We thought they looked very pretty.

Complete garbage...half of the net is not working. I cannot fix it but when the whole net is working, it is nice.

Bought 2 sets in 2013, they did not work the following year. Purchased 4 net twinkling white lights early last December (2014), and had to go back with one box of half lit lights to exchange them. They were working when I put them away early January 2015. Brought them up from the basement a few days ago and 2 of the net lights would not light up at all, and 1 of them only 1/2 of the lights lit up. Went back to HD to return and exchange. HD was only willing to give me $1.00 for each of the 3 boxes! Are you kidding me? I contacted Gemmy, through the only way you can-their website. Called and was told no one to talk to. Very convenient. I bought new lights today, but not made by this company. I will be contacting head of customer service for Home Depot, as well as Lowe's! BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased 5 sets of these lights two years ago. They were pretty, but one set crapped out within a few weeks, then started working again. I was not able to put them up last year. I pulled them out this year -- none of them work. Not one set.

Worked well the first year but both sets completely dead the second year. I had to throw them in the garbage. I did check the fuses and they were OK. Another poor design from Lightshow.

Stay away from any digital Christmas lighting sold at Home Depot. They looked nice at the start. Packed them away and not a single light on the 4 nets I purchased works! That's upwards of $100 wasted. The least Home Depot could do is replace each set. At the price paid, the warranty should extend far beyond 90 days!

After one year of use we had three out of 14 strings working. Don't waste your money.

Wish I had read reviews before I shelled out the money for 4 sets of these lights. They didn't last one season. What an expensive disappointment. There should be a zero star rating.
