Over all it was ok. I wish there was some sort of seal on the flap when it was closed in order to keep bugs and dirt out.

Finding a wall vent for 7inch duct was not a simple task. The vent we purchased was manufactured with a 7inch or 10x3 option. I did not have room for any kind of reduction duct work and I wanted the most air movement I could get and 7 inch was the best option.

The vent is ok, but a little short for a 2 x 6 wall with lap siding. Also it does not have a screen on the exterior. If I was doing this again I would spend a little more for a different vent.

Very sturdy and easy to install but it is more expensive than it should be - simple galvanized sheet metal.

Very good quality. Exactly as described and whatIi needed for muy home. Delivery to the store was quicker than stated.

Well built,easy install,but scared my dogs when it is windy outside it is one noisy vent.

The vent has a very cheaply made damper. It bangs and flaps all day when it is windy and is extremely noisy. Unfortunately these vents are hard to find for some reason, even though they fit a very common size of range hood, so we have to settle for what we can find.

Works fine. They threw in a little candy bar for fun.

Wall vent is basic, well built vent with pre-pressed holes for drilling mounting holes. Its spring loaded internal cover, to prevent outside air blowing into your exhausting pipe, nicely keeps door closed under no exhaust, and opens well under blowing 190 CFM fan 12 feet away. I mounted in window, customizing a mounting plywood plate, caulking around the vent's pipe and the plate. Angled hood is sculptured well, so as to disallow any incoming rain or snow.

It is very good

The damper flap did not completely close about a 1/2” opening from the base. Doesn’t sound like a big deal but prefect for wasps and down drafts. No pre drilled mounting holes in the metal flange. I like the metal concept vs the plastic louver vent for longevity thought I give this a try bad idea.

Great for exhausting microwave exhaust to outside, nice spring return. Works good.

On the web page I think I remember seeing the vent hood had a screen (that was not there on the unit I was sent) as well as a flapper that was there and works fine. The vent installed easely and arrived without any dings or scratches.

Vent is thick, durable and well constructed. Damper doesn't easily flap open, it was a good buy. Hope this helps.
