I have had to have repair on this twice within the first 3 years. The lint filter does not catch all the lint and it was making grinding noises. Now, the heating element appears to have gone bad.

The day we purchased this piece of junk it never worked right. I have had to work on 8 times and replace parts 8 xs.

We are very happy with our new Samsung washer and dryer. Much more efficient than our previous washer and dryer. Washes and drys much quicker and much more efficiently than our previous washer and dryer.

I never expected this upgrade of a dryer with all the bells and whistles. But here I am all caught up with my Laundry for the first time in ages. It is so big it fits my King Size Comforter and the amount of Laundry it can fit for one time. I hated doing Laundry before, it was such a chore, now it is so easy and fast. It is amazing how technology changes in one or two decades but it did and for the best and I have it. There are so many cycles and options that is perfect for the laundry that I do. My clothes never came out as soft and smelling real nice as they do now. Thank You Samsung for making such a wonderful and Great Dryer!!!!

This dyer all my clothes from heavy comforters, jeans. when I wash all my clothes are dry, comforters comes out fluffy and very soft.

This has been the best machine we have ever bought!

our old dryer finaly quit.. i found this one on clearance.. always had good products from samsung...this is no different...great dryer

i like how the washer and dryer works. samsung products are great. also have a TV that we like.

This dryer is huge and I have had no problems drying king sized comforters and sheets. Lots of features. I haven't tried the steam cycle yet

The dryer keeps SINGING that the load is dry when it isn't. Finally I am forced to put it on TIME and then the clothes are wrinkled. I am very disappointed in this product.

I wish the motor hold down spring metal retainer were twice as thick and anchored better. Has broken twice so far and lost two weeks of use. This last time the plastic fin inside the drum broke off also.

I was hesitant about buying this dryer but after viewing the reviews and talking with the sales rep, I was convinced this dryer was suited for our needs. Without a doubt, this is the best dryer I've ever owned. It dries clothes quickly while being able to handle large loads. Design and functions are spot on. I would not heitate to buy this Samsung product.

We recently purchased this dryer along with the matching wash machine! It is very user friendly and I love the multiple features and settings! I love the steam option, will really come in handy to freshen up "dry clean only" curtains and drapes for spring cleaning time! I can't say enough about the machine, all the clothes are dry (never damp). The machine can sense how much time they need, amazing technology!

There is nothing bad to say about this washer! We have only had the machine for a couple of months but it heads above anything we have ever owned. The washer is extrememly quiet and efficient. I have read reviews where some peole find it difficult to set the washer up, but that is not the case it is very straight forward. There are so many options for cleaning clothes it's increadable and we use many of them. We wash clothes ranging from delicates to comforters without any hesitation. Feel confident in purchasing this washer as we are extremely happy to own it.

The product functions well and so far, it's energy efficient. The features are very easy to fathom and use appropriately. It's not noisy at all.

I would recommend this dryer to my friends and family!

Technologically superior to anything on the market. Great at doing the basics but also full of amazing features. Buy this product with confidence.

Purchased this product along with the matching washer on May 18, 2014 and we have had nothing but problems with both! Since we couldn"t use the washer for 4 weeks after the purchase the dryer sat idle as well since we had to use the local laundromat numerous times to wash clothes. Once the washer was fixed June 18, 2014 we began to use the dryer again. Just yesterday the dryer could not be programmed to do a load unless it was powered off and unplugged, then restarted. Once done we then had a problem choosing the load cycle, ie, Permanent Press, Bedding, etc. So again after literally 3 weeks of actual use we have called for service as it appears the circuit board problem has surfaced. So this will take at least 2 service calls to repair because as the first call is used to diagnose the problem & then parts have to be ordered & hopefully its the right part! So back to the laundromat and also the extended warranty speaks of a laundry reimbursement however you need to get receipts to claim this amount and what coin laundromat gives receipts? An empty promise! Not at all happy with the product and would recommend you purchase any other brand!

The one thing that both my wife and I HATE about it though is the lack of ability to change the drying temperature on the auto sense dry modes. All of my family’s clothes, cottons and synthetics, say to tumble dry on low. Low is not an option on this dryer unless you use the manual timed dry. Samsung should have allowed for more selectability in the sense dry modes. The lint filter trap has a flip out cover. Not too sure this will last a long time. Should have been designed better.

The last washer and dryer gave good service and lasted 13 years. Have a concern with the new washer with all the electronic controls.

Washer is well designed with very large capacity and good features that are easy to use. Clothes come out clean and fresh. I'm happy with my new washer so far and would recommend it to friends.

While it has alot of great features & has a nice design.... I am a little disappointed with the steam feature. Tshirt I was going to wear had a crease/wrinkle in it, so I put it on steam. After 35-40 minutes it looked worse than before I put it in and was still soaking wet. And we spent alot of money on the washer & dryer pair

First of all I was impressed how HUGE this dryer actually is. It will hold tons of clothes, and GENTLY dry them to whatever your choice of settings happen to be . . . . Most important to me after working in schools for 28 years as Capital Improvement Manager, was the built-in safeties concerning the filter and dryer vent. This unit will warn you when the filter needs cleaning and NOT start if the dryer vent is blocked or obstructed. 'OUTSTANDING SAFETY FEATURES'! Many FIRES are caused from improperly maintained dryers due to clogged filters and (dirty) obstructed vents. The folks at Samsung programmed this dryer to be 'SAFE' for all users! LOVE the 'child-locks' also - Grand kids are too little and precious for 'RISKS' in the Laundry Room! ! ! ! ! ! Aside from the 'safety-items' the selection of dryer-options is 'up-front' and comprehensive even for a 'technologically-out-of-date', Senior like me, to understand. Just love the 'music' this dryer plays when it goes through the various programmed cycles - almost makes me want to 'dance'.

This dryer is quite fast at drying clothes most of the time. Since most loads are usually mixed types of clothes, it does not always get all items completely dry. this is no different than with most all dryers. It has a problem drying bed sheets. First the sheets seem to almost always roll up into a ball which inhibits drying the inner part of the ball. It tends to keep adding running time when trying to dry the sheets since it seems not to be able to correctly detect if the sheets are dry. If you pause the dryer to untangle the ball of sheets, it seems not to know where to continue from. THE ONE PART OF THIS DRYER WHICH IS POORLY DESIGNED IS THE LINT SCREEN!! WE HAVE NEVER HAD DRYER WITH A COVER ON PART OF THE SCREEN. AT OUR AGE OF LATE SIXTIES, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THAT COVER COMPLETELY SNAPPED CLOSED. THE LINT SCREEN DOSE NOT FIT PROPERLY IF IT IS NOT COMPLETELY CLOSED.

Wanted a dryer to match our recently purchased Samsung large capacity top loader washer. Bought the matching dryer online to get the best price. We needed the larger capacity and I've been having fun washing clothes ever since. Clothes that used to require 3-4 loads now take 2. Love our new dryer!! Haven't used the steam feature yet so can't comment.

We are very pleased with our Front Load Dryer. We previously owned another popular brand used in many new homes but consider the Samsung to be superior.

I researched this dryer for days before I made the purchase. This dryer has every option I needed, its easy to use, looks great & I also have the matching washer which I also got at Home Depot 2 weeks earier.

Much nicer to use with more features than other brands.
