Works better than CFL
Bought six. Now buying another 24 for the rest of the house. Instant on, better soft-white light than CFL. Better price than most BR30 LED's, but still expensive. Durability: I'll have to wait 2-4 years to see. CFL's take a durability/quality hit when lights are cycled off /on as a person moves though the house . Add the diminished light after a year of use, poor performance in even mildly cool weather (we live in Florida), greenish hue in the light, and disposal issues...CFL's just didn't work out. In hot climates, heat from incandescent bulbs drive up cooling bills, not to mention the added energy use... so not a viable option.

65W Equivalent Soft White (2700K) BR30 LED Flood Light Bulb (6-Pack)
I have been waiting for the price to drop on these LED can lights so I could replace the incandescent bulbs in the kitchen ceiling. Have to drag out a ladder to change the bulbs and went through about 12 bulbs/year. The new bulbs have a 23 year life at 3 hrs/day. Ours is usually on for six hours. However, I shouldn't have to replace for over 10 years. Saving money on electricity big time. Instead of 420 watts being burned there is only 72 watts being used. The lights are brighter too!

Exactly what I was looking for.
LED's are starting to come around to other bulbs in terms of color temperature. These are rated at 2700k, and actually look like it. The light output is on a par with similar incandescent and CFL floods. I'm using them in a meeting room, and have found them to give very practical light without being irritating over long periods of time. Very happy with the purchase.

So far it's excellent... we'll see how it fairs over time
I went for this 6 pack because I needed to replace that many 75W incandescent can lights in our kitchen and these are a little less than buying them individually. They fit and look exactly the same in size and appearance as their predecessors. The light emitted is pleasantly warm in color. Perhaps it's a minuscule fraction 'whiter' than the incandescent bulbs, though it's such a minor difference as far as aesthetics and comfort to our eyes that it's really a negligible point. I'm very pleased with their performance and ability to switch on immediately (some LED bulb buyers have complained about that with various bulb types/brands. I had that experience with a different brand of A19 bulbs - they got returned as that phenomenon is very annoying and unacceptable IMO). The price is still too high to start replacing all the CFL's and incandescent bulbs remaining in our home, and some situations like fully enclosed fixtures are problematic for certain LED's, yet this situation was certainly worth the upfront cost. We wouldn't turn on those since they were costly to burn. It freed us of that concern and now truly helps meal prep! If they last as long as claimed, the money spent/saved will certainly be in our favor. I will definitely up my grading of Value/Quality to 'Excellent' but Home Depot, this review and myself will have to exist in 22.8 years ;) Heck, 11.4 years would ROCK for bulb longevity and return on investment! We'll see...
