These light trims are easy to install, they are bright, dimmable and produce a high quality light

As a eléctrican for over 6 years this is well worth the price. If you are planning on keeping your home for a long period of time this is worth the investment. trim and bulb are included so don't go out buying trims. Dimming is not as good as a normal bulb but the light is bright instantly.

Allowed me to upgrade lighting from 50W to 65W in small can lamps while lower electrical cost. Takes less than 20 seconds to install after you do the first one (including taking it out of the package!)

These lights are a great replacement for recessed bulbs. The color the give off is a bit whiter than traditional incandescent, but its very bright, and still not as white as fluorescent or traditional LED bulbs. Additionally, the light looks very good in general. It doesn't give off that harsh feeling that lower quality LEDs give off, it's very pleasant. It dims very well, and as dark as anyone would want. It was very easy to instal, given the instructions, and I don't worry that they'll come out. Note: you may have to change out your dimmers to get the full dimming range.

I purchased 12 of these for a remodel and paired with Lutron AYCL-153P-WH Ariadni CFL/LED/Incandescent Single-Pole/3-Way Dimmers. I am very pleased with the results. The bulbs are (almost) instant on and with these dimmers, have a very smooth dimming range down to about 20%. The color is warm as it should be at full brightness, but does tend to get a tad blue/green when dimmed. Not objectionable in my opinion but worth noting. Also, no buzzing when dimmed. A big plus. These were very easy to install and I was able to return the trim I had previously purchased since the trim is built in on these bulbs. I would purchase these again.

Love these lights. A breeze to install. Totally dimmable using a standard dimmer. Not too bright.

We are very happy with these lights. They were very easy to install. They look great with the integrated trim. The only "but" is that they are really, really bright. I don't mind that I just wasn't expecting it. Since mine are on a dimmer switch I just dim as needed. And they dim very well, no flickering or humming.

The color of these is nice, a warm white, like an incandescent, although it does change color slightly when dimmed. It dimmed well with a Lutron Diva incandescent dimmer, with no flickering. I'm going to try a Leviton Vizia incandescent dimmer (vpi06), hope that works too. The trim is a white textured plastic, not shiny, and fits flush against the ceiling (twist clockwise to install, and counterclockwise to remove, this engages/disengages the tabs). I really like the small size of these, it feels more modern than a 6" recessed light. They fit fine in a regular 4" can (Halo H99ICAT from HD). We used 8 of these to light a 31' x 18' space, about 4' from the walls and about 8' between them. I was worried it would not be enough, but it seems like plenty of light, especially if you will have some lamps in the room. We have four wall washer lights in the room (4" LED gimbal sold at HD), and with all of these on, it is plenty of light. And lighting all of them (8 of these and 4 wall washers) uses less than 125 watts! That's less than TWO 65-watt incandescent lamps that are used in 6-inch cans. These do seem a bit dimmer than the Ecosmart 6" LED that uses the same wattage (I tested them both before I replaced all the 6" cans) The light is not as diffuse as an incandescent, it casts a lot of shadows off of furniture, even though the light overlaps with the adjacent lamp. That seems to be the only downside of LED function. LEDs are still pretty expensive. A 4" recessed can is twice the cost of a 6" can, so that did not help either. But when you consider the cost of the recessed trim for a regular lamp, which is integrated into this light, it seems a bit more reasonable. I calculated that this will be a 3 to 4 year payback, but if the light lasts as long as advertised, the savings will grow every year through reduced electric bills.

I want the light from the famous Cree LR6 LEd bulb but in a 4 inch bulb. This has cree components but when I tried one the light is much much whiter than the halogens I want to replace and very intense as well. I cannot have these intense white round panels (in a 4" can) in my ceiling. I desperately want, and would pay the higher price, for the LR6 quality of light. I returned the EcoStar lights to the store. Cree makes a CR6 now. it is more expensive and not in the store. I will have to buy these and see if they are the same as HD's or a step up. As a PS, the economics of these lights are fabulous. IF you like them it is a no brainer to buy them. The Money you save is off the top billing tier on your utility bill, not the baseline rate. I would pay for one of these bulbs every month in savings in one half of my living room; a 13 month ROI. WOW! That's a must do...!

These lights did exactly what I was looking for. The quality of light is very soft. Installation is extremely easy. Aesthetically the lights look great. Would definitely recommend. Worth every penny.

Can't do better than this. The light color is close to incandescent. These bulbs dim all the way down smoothly. Price is outstanding. Using this product, a quality 5" dimmable LED fixture can be had for just over $50 each. The EcoSmart uses a standard dimmer.
