Highly recommended! I got this heater to heat up a 2 car garage to do DIY mechanic work. Within 15 minute, you can feel the temperature change and is super easy to use. Don't forget that the heater must be connected to 110v to have the igniter at all times. Besides that, I love this unit.

Super awesome
Works great. Two car garage about 68 degrees after 15 minutes. Outside temp 40. Have garage door open about a foot with intake of heater just under garage door. I have a carbon monoxide sensor in my garage and no alarms. Been running about two hours now working on my chevy c10 very comfortably. Fired right up following directions. I would choose this one over kerosene/off road d-15 powered units for a two car garage. Propane is cheaper and cleaner burning...less maintenance. Had to clean injector on previous salamander diesel burner years ago. This one just makes sense. Money well spent.

Purchased today and turned it on about 6PM, let it run for 90 minutes. A little loud, but not unbarable. Easy to light and the quality seemed fine. Broke the chill in my garage in about 30 minutes. I went to turn it back on after a couple hours and it did not heat. It started up, the pilot lit the flame, but the intensity was gone. It blew cold air, because the flame was not enough. I tried multiple times to get it going, checking my connections and "opening up" the valve. I also purchased a large propane tank from home depot, so the tank should have been filled up. However I will say the tanks didnt look very good and I did have to pick through half empty tanks to find a decent one.

Do not buy anything from Dyna-glo
purchased this heater. had an issue with it staying lit. called customer service. 30 minute hold time. advice was to return it to store. got another. had another issue, problem is that dyna glo wont help me because I dont have my "portable" heater connected to the required 2 -100lb tanks. how in the heck is this portable. their "lovely" tech said I can get a longer hose. told me he didnt buy it for, what do I want him to do? a few other things were and he hung up on me.

This tube heater is a very efficient way to heat a cold but insulated space of 30 x 40. It is a little noisy but, “get over it” it’s warm in about 20 minutes to about 65 degrees from about 30 degrees. Shut it off and now you are good for about an hour. Next time I turned it was for 10 min.

          Great!!
Fumes are a little strong but we had it run for 5 minutes in our 25X25 insulated unheated garage and it instantly took the chill out and made it barable. Also werent able to see our breath in five minutes. It was -20 outside.

The heater actually surprised me as to how long the 20lb tank lasted set at low temp. The 20lb tank lasted about 5 1/2- 6 hours of continuous use. So the heater doesn't use too much gas but when the tank gets low it starts to blow cooler air more than heat but that's kind of normal.

As soon as I hooked this heater up to an electrical outlet I ran into problems. When first plugged in, the fan would not come on. After inspecting the unit, I found that the fan motor was a bent sideways, allowing the fins to contact the interior wall. Once I managed to bend the fan motor/mounting bracket, the fan began to spin. After 20 minutes of use the fan motor would bend to where it was originally, causing the blades to once again make contact with the interior walls, this kept happening repeatedly and there was no outside physical damage to the heater. This unit is very cheaply made, I would have a hard time buying one for $20.00. I will not be purchasing any Dyna-glo products from here on out. Do yourself a favor and buy a heater from a different manufacturer.

Bought it a year ago or I should say less than a year which means 4 months of winter usage and it has died. Won't stay lit after lighting which means bad thermocouple, good luck in finding one on their website.

                HEATS GREAT
A great heater for the price. I use it in my garage for my wooden toy business. It heats great, but the propane consumption leaves a little bit to be desired. My garage is insulated, but I will use one tank of propane about every 10 hours or less.

Professional Quality at a great price
I currently own a smaller tank top heater and wanted to upgrade to a larger heater when working in my garage. Dyna Glo Pro is a great brand and this price from Home Depot was an unbeatable value. I could never afford the larger forced air units, but this is a great value and the perfect size to heat a 2 car garage to a comfortable temperature during the winter. The fan requires an extension cord to plug into the actual unit with a smaller 1ft cord (basically a safety feature) It looks great with a nice orange finish. I am very impressed by the build quality, it feels like a sturdy unit and has a carry handle on top for easy transporting. The propane hose is very long and makes it easy to position the heater where you need it. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and really recommend this heater. Propane is a much better fuel to use vs. kerosene due to the clean burning and lack of nasty kerosene smell.

                Get's The Job Done
Purchased this heater to keep me warm while working on job sites outside in mornings here in AZ in Dec & Jan when temps are in 40's and 50's. I put it about 8 feet from where I am working and it throws out enough heat to keep my warm enough to work comfortably. I use it on lowest setting and have to turn it off when temps start rising as it does get warm. I am sure if used in an enclosed space, this heater would raise temps extremely quickly as even outside in open it works great. Due to the forced air fan it is loud and does require electricity, but small price to pay. It's very lightweight and easy to move. The one quality issue is the use of plastic for the nipple that the propane hose threads on to. I guarantee if you are not mindful with that area, the nipple will break off. It's a poor cheap choice and the one thing that stands out as a warning area. I believe it's rated for 12-14 hrs on a 20lb cylinder on low. Great value that could have been excellent if the manufacturer just changed to a metal hose nipple.

                Nice an toasty
I have a double car garage that is 2 cars deep and 2 cars wide with high ceilings & r-12 foam insulation. After 30 minutes running at half power in 32° or less conditions its about 60 inside the garage, after I heat up the area I kick it down to low and can run a 5 gallon tank for about a week using it 3-5 hours per day. In smaller parts of the shop that I close off I can get the room up to mid 60s in 15 minutes on medium heat.

Clean, no fuss way to heat. Make your connections, turn two knobs and you have clean, safe, fan forced heat. No matches needed. The price is right and is easy to use. Very good purchase.

                      Stopped Working
I used it for about 8 hrs, then it stopped working, it fires up but won't hold ignition. Worked great, heating up a 500 sq ft garage in about a half hour, but it was loud. Expected it to last a little longer.

It heats quickly but after about 20 minutes it starts to smell very strong of propane. Yes, I have ventilation but it is as if it stops burning efficiently. Luckily it heats 400 sqft in 20 min because you have to shut it off to breath

Used it a few times this winter to heat up my 850 sq ft garage and did the trick in no time! The garage typically stays in the high 40s/low 50s when it gets down to 30 degrees outside. Tried it the first time and the garage heated up to ~70 degrees in only about 20 minutes! The fan itself is pretty loud, so if you need it continuously running for a lot of people it would be best to heat up the garage before an event and turn it off. But it’d be perfect for running while working on a project in the garage or working out
