Totally smashed
This light bulb was delivered in a bubble envelope?? Of course it was completely smashed. Whoever thought delivering a light bulb in a envelope needs to be retrained!Will be returning for another one. Most the thin glass was in envelope.

Great light - bright and clean. As I have only used it since May, the jury is still out on its lifespan. :) However, I did like the first four I purchased, so I ordered 15 more to have them on hand for other light fixtures.

Put up 2 Vintage Squirrel Cage Light Bulbs to light the front entrance. I find that the soft yellow glow and 60 Watts is best lighting for this situation and matches my neighbors. Working well for more that 2 months so far.

The light emitted is soft and warm. I use these bulbs to light and display book cases in the living room. They are not for reading, but for accenting. The bulbs have been in place for a couple months and no problems. Note: the attached photo also shows two LED lights displaying a painting and are not part of the review.
