Seems to be built well. Fit perfect in our ceiling vents. It does have a slider to control airflow. It is a little thicker than I expected, but would buy again.

Great natural look and bonus the damper box is plastic so no worries about rusting on the inside or any sticking issues.

Looks great. Easy to install.

Air damper doesn't provide 100% closure, but other than that it's a nice looking unit. Had to trim it down to fit odd-sized openings in my 60+ year old home.

I needed one without drilled holes like the pictured item but when I picked it up, it had holes. Other than that, I was satisfied.

We installed this vent cover into a new ceiling. Unfortunately, an unfinished version was not available, so we sanded the clear coat and painted the wood. It works fine, and the paint matches well.

The 'Decor Grates" appear to be well made and well finished. Installing them is easy as they're rectangles. I'm satisfied with the price, as well.

What came, which we did not notice until we had it half installed was a wall & ceiling register. We decide to keep it. Even though we were advised we needed a "Floor Register." It is an area with no traffic. should be fine, however I will open and inspect the well sealed package before I leave the store, in case we order something again.

It looks very good with our new wood floors. Excellent quality. Very pleased.

this one has black plastic wind grills allow user to open/close. the direction is fixed via oak structure. the stained finish is good enough. you can mount from top use wood screws, or from bottom inside. I found I need cobalt drill bit to go through the metal although it is not thick (sturdy enough). Note oak register has different size due to different mfg. some has larger opening than others. HD has limited line, I still need to purchase online unfinished ones and stain myself.

The vent looks really great. However, we replaced them because they sit up so high we, and guests, were tripping over them.

This grate looks perfect against our wood floors. It replaces a rusty old metal grate. Not sure how it will hold up to anyone walking on it moving furniture over it. So far so good, so 4 stars.
