From the outside these Oak Grill’s look nice. Inside the dampers are made of thin plastic which does not seal in the closed position. They are not the quality I expected from HD but there are no other alternatives that would work

Its a nice little product for what I am going to us it for. The little dampener seems a bit on the low end but I supposed you are not playing with that all the time. Almost perfectly matches the oak floors in my home.

We put in a wood ceiling and our registers are in the ceiling. I was thrilled when I found these! Better than a white or brown color. They are just beautiful that are made from oak with the inside box made out of plastic. They are very well made.

It was just what I wanted.

Handsome. Nicely finished wood. The damper box is plastic. Good engineering except the mounting holes are spaced too close together. I would have to drill new mounting holes closer to the edge in order to use these grates.

We needed more red in the wood and didn't care to sand it down. A bit more thick than we cared for, also.

Beautiful finish, ready to install.

We had to drill holes, it came with screws but had to pull nails to get to the screws. A photo of the guts of the grate needed to be on the web site AND there needed to be instructions; the plastic guts needed to be installed with screws so it would be easier to re-assemble.

No problems. Sturdy made. It is higher than regular floor registers so if it will be in a traffic area, you might trip over it or stub you toe.

Product is nice looking. However, it is not nearly sturdy enough to be stepped on. I installed it in a middle of the floor vent, and it broke within several days. If it was next to a wall, it may have faired better. I replaced with a metal grate.

The customer service department was outstanding in securing the purchase of the oak floor registers we requested. They were both competent and positive and we appreciated their help since we had tried on our own to order this product from the Canadian manufacturer and failed.

Love the color and quality of the wood. Would have preferred holes were already in place.
