Too flimsy. Should be rubber

Absolute trash. Poor quality, poor fit, poor utility, ridiculously and offensively overpriced and a total waste of time and effort.

These did work for my intended use, I would have preferred them to be a larger diameter

The gaskets I received were nothing like the gaskets pictured and were not adequate for the job. A waste of money and in no way airtight.

these are too thin and not of closed cell material so cannot be used for shower application.

To thin and not quite big enough to replace foam gaskets I needed to change. Also, needed to be wider to properly seal out light. First bad buy from home depot. Cheap product most folks will likely not want. I know replacements are hard to find, but this one is not likely the solution. At least it wasn't for us. Good luck!

These gaskets are extremely thin and do not accomplish what they are sold for. They are flimsy foam and would work if they were at least twice the thickness of what they are. They are suppose to form a light seal between the light cover and the ceiling. They do not do this. I am sure they do not meet the California Title 24 code. This is a feel good item that really dosen't do the job but because of the name you feel you are meeting a California code.

Nothing flashy about this product. If you want to be as air tight as possible, the gaskets will seal an uneven ceiling or acoustical application.

For one, it is rather disappointing that HD sells the air-tight recessed lights and trim but doesn't sell the gaskets that finish the air-tight installation. Second, they are black, not white as in the photo but not a huge deal to me. Third, I would of expected some sort of rubber/solid gasket but instead these gaskets are a very "bubbly" foam. Fourth, definitely not worth the price. You would be better off buying a better quality material and cutting your own. Fifth, must love the disclaimers on all certified air-tight products that they allow a certain percentage of air leakage. How is allowing air leakage qualify as calling it air-tight? This goes for the cans, the trims and these gaskets. I would of paid $1.00 and free shipping for these. That's about what I think they are worth.

These trim gaskets (2 boxes of 6 each) arrived in a huge! box, whereas they could have been shipped in an envelope. Installation is very easy, although, because some were bent, it took a few tries to get them all flat. I wish HD would sell these in the store. They do seem expensive for such a small piece of foam.

Doubt these really seal as they are flimsy,hard to keep aligned and difficult to hide from sight. Oh! Did I mention they are black foam against white ceiling.
