Love it! The box fit in my trunk & I was able to carry it into my home. Perfect fit for my small cleaning supply closet. Wanted to flip the shelves to have a lip edge on each shelf. The are joist support bars, so this idea did not work for me as my supplies didn’t sit flat on the shelf when on top of the support bars. Was not sure what to do with some pieces so I bagged them in my hardware supply box.

Very difficult assembly, plastic sleeves are not big enough to wrap around entire column and fit together as shown in directions. Pressure is needed to compress joints into place, plastic sleeves do not hold weight well AT ALL, keep slipping down columns to different grooves, i have spent an hour on this and almost sent my hammer through the wall. DO NOT PURCHASE

Fantastic shelves! Easy to assemble and sturdy. Great value and looks great in my kitchen, pantry, bedroom and home office.

I purchased 2, and these worked perfectly for my needs. The full sized casters DO NOT fit, but I drilled out the legs, and used epoxy to permanently bond them in place. I cut a wooden tops for these, an use them as a mobile worktables in my garage for my drill press and/or bandsaw.

Home Depot put the shelves together for me and put it in my car. It was easy to carry into my apartment. Since it was ready to use, I was able to set it up with my garden supplies and plants indoors.

Easy to set up, set up in less than 5 minutes. Super sturdy and reliable. Will be buying more of these 5 stars. If you need a sturdy rack, look no further

These shelving units are sturdy, attractive, reasonably priced, and better than expected. I purchased 3 units for more storage under the desks at work. We had to cut-off a short piece from the top of each of the poles to fit under the desk, but we were able to put the tops back-on; you would never know that they were cut, and the black color looks so much better than chrome. I will definitely be purchasing more, and hopefully the exact same shelving is available in other sizes for home garage storage.

Super easy to assemble. It is designed to hold lots of weight. And mine is black in color so it looks a little more elegant than just plain metal. It was exactly what I wanted and needed to organize my pantry!

Inexpensive and easy to assemble chrome shelving. Just what we needed to store a few items in our kitchen.

I needed a more narrow (24")shelving unit due to space restrictions, I was able to make a 5 tier unit by combining two assemblies. I took a little ingenuity but it worked!

Heavy duty, easy to assemble. Because I wanted to use the shelves for under desk storage, I needed to reduce the four pipes length by about four inches. I used a regular metal pipe cutter, set to one of the locking support notches on the pipes. They are hard metal but the process worked very well. I have purchased several units of this style shelving before. I have used them in the bottom of closets and, larger ones, for garage storage. They make great utilitarian storage.

Very good price - 40% less than same shelf in black. But: 2nd shelf I went to install was tweaked from the factory, so made for Very Frustrating install, til I finally took that shelf off, put other two on, and used bent one on top after slight 'persuasion' w/rubber mallet.

Love it. Very easy to put together. No tools needed, took me about 10 minutes. Great buy for the price and it's not cheap plastic. Going to last me my lifetime. Highly recommend this product.

We bought this for my daughter's dorm room. It's very sturdy and was easy to put together. I am most impressed by the color choice since its a young lady's room; most of these type shelves are limited in color options.

I don't know how everyone found this unit so easy to put together...I have put many a piece of furniture/appliances/etc., together in the past that were far more complicated, and I had the worst time with this. First let me say that it IS made of heavy duty metal and I was so excited to see that. I bought two of them and I bought them on sale, so I was very pleased with the quality of the material. However, putting it together was a chore. Although it should have been easy, I found that every time I added a shelf over the plastic "tapered sleeves," (see pic) at least one of the sleeves slid down, and once that happened my shelf was not level and it was nearly impossible to readjust (see pic). This happened with every shelf. I spent more time trying to level each shelf than it was worth. I even used a mallet as suggested. They look okay, but I don't feel as if they are put together as well as they should be. It's a shame because I would be very pleased if it weren't for that. HDX, there has GOT to be a better way to assemble this unit using something besides the tapered sleeves. All that said, the shelves are heavy duty and luckily I paid the sale price. I am using them in a large walk-in closet (see pic).

This may be the best purchase I've ever made! I am an avid quilter and crafter and was in desperate need of a large cutting/craft table. I purchased four of these units to use as the base of my table. After getting them home and opening the boxes, I was impressed by the weight of the poles and sturdiness of the shelves. The instructions were clear and it took me less than 30 minutes to put all four units together. I added casters (for portability and added height) and a 48x48 piece of 3/4 inch plywood. The shelving units give the table complete stability and lots of storage room for my sewing and craft supplies. I highly recommend these shelving units.

Small. Sturdy. Does its job. Great deal. We use it to hold our countertop appliances -- that we don't like on the countertop. We use them directly on the shelf. Works great.

I bought this shelving unit to store cleaning solutions, car washing supplies, along with other frequently used items. The unit fits perfectly next to the utility sink in my garage. I'm always looking for space saving ideas and this shelving is the answer. It's sturdy enough and the shelves have enough space between them to hold gallon + containers. Instead of searching through cabinets only to find almost empty containers, I can readily see what I am looking for because of the wire shelving. Although I have only owned it for approximately three weeks, it has exceeded my expectations. Very convenient! Artie's wife

I bought two boxes because I wanted two shelves. One box was missing a plastic clip groove (both pieces) and the paper Use and Care Guide with the instructions was not in the box. All of the remaining pieces were included. I have previously purchased shelves identical to these so I knew how to assembly the shelves without the directions. Since a plastic clip groove was missing, I was unable to finish putting the shelves together. I opened the second box. This box had the paper instructions included. This box also had the required 12 plastic clip grooves (24 pieces) and there were 4 extra clip grooves (8 pieces). I easily assembled this second unit. Then I took one of these extra clip grooves (2 pieces) and used the clip groove to finish assembling the first unit. Now I had two complete metal shelf units and 3 extra shelf grooves (6 pieces).

I brought it home, slid it out from the box. Everything was packaged nicely for sake of protecting all the pieces from getting scratched by other pieces. I found it very easy to understand after a simple scan of the page. A minute or two later I had all the pieces laid out before me. Essentially there are only 3 types of pieces in this puzzle 1. Shelves 2. Poles 3. Plastic Clips 1. Screw one bottom pole to one top pole. Do this four times.It should be very obvious which end is the top and what is the bottom. 2. Decide where you want to place the shelves on your unit. The lowest shelf will go on first. 3. *Once decided take 2 of the plastic clips and click together around a groove on your first pole closest to where your bottom shelf will be placed. *IMPORTANT: The clips clearly state TOP so be sure they are face up with the top of the pole. 4. Now place the leg onto the pole until it is snug on the clip; repeat with three more legs. 5. Now you may stand your shelf unit up and repeat steps 3 & 4 to position the two remaining shelf. Once complete go back over each place a shelf meets a pole and provide a little more re enforcement by mild compression with your hands assuring everything is snug and secure. Took me a total of 15 or may 20 minutes but absolutely no longer. Easy peezy, no tools to hunt down, no frustration. I have two small guitar amps on the bottom shelf, a dual mixing board/amp on the second, with another mixing board on top. This thing is sturdy and not going anywhere. With 8 grandchildren running about here at unexpected times I wouldn't have it if I wasn't confident about it.

Used this small shelving unit to increase storage space in one of our oddly sized cabinets in the kitchen. Have used this line of shelving for storage in the garage before and it is very easy to put together and light enough to move around by myself. Would recommend.

HDX 5 Shelf 72 in. H x 36 in. W x 14 in. D Wire Unit in Chrome. I purchased 3 units about a year ago to de-clutter the garage and I just purchased another 3 units to help organize the basement storage room. They are easy to assemble, hold a lot of weight and have adjustable shelves to fit a variety of different sized objects. They really helped organize my garage and basement.
