This outlet tap has all the features I needed for our kitchen outlet. It is small, compact, provides side access to the outlets, and increases the outlet quantity. It fits snugly behind our microwave and allows us to plug-in the microwave, water dispenser, toaster, mopping robot charging base, AND still have two outlets free, if needed. Another advantage to the side-access of the outlets is that if/when you pull out a plug, you don't have the issue of instead pulling the entire outlet tap from the wall. That's a big plus in the convenience category. I really appreciate the compact design; the width is smaller than that of the wall outlet plate, so it's easy to hide, and the depth is as compact as it can be (1.75 to 2 inches deep). The cost is very reasonable, too. It would be nice if this item were stocked in the store; luckily I found it with a deliberate homedepot.com search. I was about to buy one of the swivel outlet taps, but this product is better for what I needed, and half the price. I had it shipped free-to-store, so it all worked out. I am pleased with the purchase. Will purchase again if I need a similar outlet fix in another room.

Not a solid design, too wobbly. But I use it . Will replace it out when I can find what I have in two other outlets.

My original goal was to find something with side outlets to be placed behind the furniture in my house. Of course this was to prevent the plugs from getting damaged. This GE six side access outlet it’s perfect for that and the bonus was going for two outlets to six.

Have many in my home and they all work well and stay tight in the wall outlet.

I live in an old house with odd nooks and crannies and not enough power plugs. I needed something in an awkward spot behind a bookcase that would allow me to plug in a few things. This is perfect.

IT WORKED GREAT SO I COULD PUSH FURNITURE AGAINST IT AND NOT PUT PRESSURE ON THE PLUGS

Did not work on my GFI outlet.

A great way to add four outlets to a two outlet fixture. Because the plugs are plugged in parallel to the wall it takes up much less space than the traditional 6-outlet adapter. The only drawback is that power bricks cannot be used in the center outlets.

I used this as a behind the fridge splitter. It allows the cords to come out and not make as sharp a bend downward. I've go a freezer, a mini fridge, and a paper shredder all plugged in. Works great!
