I recently bought a new Chamberlain WiFi Smart Garage Door Opener and needed to plug in a signal repeater for my car that had an older version of Homelink. I also wanted to be able plug in a security camera and prewired home alarm system. I used a T-Tap but it looked horrible and there is always a chance that it could fall from the ceiling. I looked over the internet and discovered this grounded adapter that would allow me to secure it to the face plate so it would not fall from the ceiling. I was able to add this easily and it securely screwed onto the existing face plate. I really like the way that it staggers the 6 outlets in order to accommodate different sized plugs. It really is the perfect solution when you need a secure place to plug in anything electronic.

Was not in local Home Depot so I ordered online. This product gives me peace of mind. It will shut down in the event of an overload. Simply remove the offending ac plug and push the button top to reset (you just prevented a house fire). Thank You Home Depot.

This style of outlet is perfect for the bathroom. some of the larger power reducing heads can be plugged in without blocking the other five outlets, Mom can plug in her hair dryer in any of the other five outlets without any problem.

The item appears to be well made, and if used as designed with a regular outlet where it can be screwed in, would perform well, and I would highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I needed to use this product to extend the outlets of a GFCI, where there is no place to use the screw, and the distance between the plugs is slightly different than a regular outlet, requiring me to cut off the plastic protrusion that would normally go into the ground terminal of the bottom outlet. The result is I have to hold the extender in place when unplugging from it. It's not the extender's fault; It's just that I couldn't find any device made to be used on a GFCI.

A couple of years ago I purchased one of these outlets for my kitchen and just bought more for other areas in home to replace the cheap ones I had that weren't UL Listed. I really like these because they are UL Listed and they're solid and when you replace the existing switch plate screw with the one that comes with the outlet, the entire outlet is secure to the wall and won't pull out when you unplug something. I also like the many plug configurations and even though they're not surge protectors, there is a reset button. Lastly, for a 6-way outlet with side plugs, etc., you can't beat the price and you even get free shipping. 5-star all around!

I like having the 15 amp breaker on a 20 amp shared circuit. The 6 receptacles set at various angles is also a nice feature. I hope this does the job.

It's just what I was looking for (because it has the screw that secures it to the outlet).

This provides an intelligent way to expand an outlet. There's always one place where several phone or tablet chargers are connected. This is built well, has onboard circuit protection and the side outlets being on an angle makes it far simpler to plug in more voltage transformers than other 6 outlet conversion devices.

Great in small area, looks neat and compact.

The outlet was exactly what I expected and performs as I expected. My only beef is the the manufacturing nation did not place a screw long enough to hold the 6 outlet to the original 2 outlet.

Good but there is only one upper plug on the back of the adapter. No lower plug. The upper plug supplies power to all six outlets.

I have a number of devices with a small transformer at the outlet and low voltage cord to the device. As everyone knows from experience, 'in line' outlet strips can't accomodate and equal number of small transformers, leaving inaccessible 110v outlets. This not only solved that problem but also the need for an extension cord and having to hide it, too, behind furniture.

You simply use provided screw to replace current screw of wall plate, which you don't remove. Wall plate stays. Can't get any easier. I have two items that plug in takes space, & this outlet satisfies that wonderfully.
