Great Dewalt quality. I’ve had one for years so I got one for my son who is just getting started in woodworking.

Dewalt isn't what it used to be. This one broke after about ten minutes of use.

The biscuit cutter works very well and safety features are well designed. The operating manual has a strange format and adjusting for material thickness could be more clear.

Used YouTube to learn how to use it. Practiced on several pieces of wood before actually restoration of a table. Very happy with the joiner!

An absolutely required tool for Jointing boards edge to edge with biscuit joints. Tool sets up easily to cut joint holes with ease and accuracy and makes perfect joints. Not much else to say whether you are a beginner or experience woodworker this tool will make you better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this plate joiner for years now and have no complaints. I've used it join a number of table tops and it's allowed me to achieve the board alignment I was after. I'd strongly recommend using it with a dust collection system. The dust-rite attachments from Rockler and a standard shop vac make this simple and convenient. When using it with the standard bag it fills up pretty quickly. The unit is built quite sturdily as it's taken some drops off the bench and not suffered any damage.

I have only used it a few times to make cabinet doors. The joiner worked perfectly out of the box. Everything lined up perfectly. I'm excited to use it on my next cabinet build. I have the kreg pocket jig and spomething always goes wrong using the pocket jig building cabinets. So that is why I choose the dewalt joiner. You can't go wrong with a dewalt power tool.

I tried this tool out for the first time. None of the biscuit size numbers line up with the red mark. I had to measure the depth of the plunge cuts to see what the setting actually was. Can the knob be removed and reset to the correct indication?

Brought this a few months ago and used it a couple of times now. A great joiner, very simple to use and did a great job. I made heavy barn wood doors and used the bisckets every 6 inches and it held together great. The hardest part wasnt dealing with the joiner but making sure all the bisckets lined up correctly. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this to help with a project that I was working on and it worked out great. It was easy to use and worked to perfection.

I owe this machine for about a month and used it on 3 projects. Thus I can't talk about its longevity. However I am very pleased with overall quality and design. It all seems to work just fine. There are 2 minor complains I have. First: it would be nice if the fence could go around a material for 45 degree surfaces. That means fence would have to go up to 135 degrees. It ensures better stability and accuracy. Nevertheless this joiner will be able to make a hole on the 45 degrees surface, so it is not a deal breaker. My second complain is about the dust port. I think it is time for this industry to work out some standards. As you can see on my pictures the port provided by DeWalt is too wide for the 32mm shopvac hose, which if not standard than at least seems very popular size in US. The inner diameter of the port on a joiner is 34.5mm or 1 and 23/64". I know I could use some adapter, but I certainly shouldn't have to.

I bought this joiner to make wider boards out of the stock red oak boards offered at Home Depot. The biscuit joiner was the perfect tool for my needs. Additionally, the stock red oak 1 x 6 boards I bought at HD were of sufficient quality that I was able to join them without additional planing to clean up the sides, and the joints came out just fine. I first used the tool to make some "floating" nightstands, then a simple tray table. They both came out great. The tool is simple to use, came with good instructions, and the biscuits and glue were also available at HD. And, Home Depot had the best price I could find on the DeWalt joiner. All in all, a satisfied customer.

This biscuit joiner is an excellent machine. The fence was set to a perfect 90deg right out of the box. The height adjustment is quick and easy to adjust. Could not be happier.

I used the joiner to join mahogany boards for a dining room table top. I watched several you tube videos of how to use a joiner. Easy to use, table top looks great!
