Cuts very quickly however if it hits any nails or obstructions it damages the carbide teeth and make the saw unusable. I had several Big Hawg hole saws and had the same experience with them all, they definitely do not make claimed 600 cuts. The last one had a carbide fall out after only a few dozen cuts. The speed is great but its a fragile compared to a traditional hole saw.

These Milwaukee Big Hawgs are lightening-fast through framing members compared to traditional bi-metal hole saws. They are all I use for my larger holes nowadays, replacing the self-feed bits that I used for years.
Note, these are primarily intended for boring large holes with speed in framing for electrical and plumbing, and having only 3 teeth, they leave a rougher hole than a regular hole saw. These are not intended for fine finish holes. A stellar product, when used for what they are intended for.

Screams through framing members
The claim on these hole cutters being 10x faster than a traditional bi-metal hole saw is no joke, these things absolutely scream through rough framing. No, they don't give the finish hole of a hole saw, but they are not intended to, they're designed for speed. It's literally like 2 seconds through 2x stock. And as they are only cutting the kerf, not taking all the wood out like a self-feed bit does, they don't tax your drill anywhere near as much, so you can get by with your cordless 1/2" 18v drill even in the largest sizes. Highly recommended!

Disappointed!
I had 6 2x10's to cut through. When I got to the 3rd one I hit a common nail. The hole saw claims to be intended for nail infested wood. The hole saw quit cutting at this point. I had to sharpen it with the diamond sharpener 4 times to get it through that piece of lumber. By that time enough material was removed from the carbide teeth to make it useless for future use. In other words, a hundred dollar hole!
