I have always bought GE. This time I am dissapointed

We are very happy with this product. It dries clothes.

Lint filter not adequate for machine builds up on door

Not as great as I thought it would be. Clothes are not as I hoped they would be. I like the vent feature but it does not seem to remove as much lint from dark garments.

Have had for 6 months and working as hoped for since Dec.

I needed a dryer for a small space. This is perfect, efficient and easy to use.

Unfortunately, the laundry room in our new house could only hold a smaller-scale dryer, but this dryer fit perfectly and has a good capacity and features, and it's pretty quiet. I've only been using it for a week now, but so far, so good.

Great options and large capacity without sticking out too far! We've had other brands with 7 moves over 30 years, and GE has been the best.

Love the quality of the product and the ability to switch which way the door opens

A large, well lit gas dryer that's easy to use and does a great job.

Hope this new one lasts a long time; we replaced one that was over 20 years old! Our space was limited so we could not get one of those huge ones with lots of extra features. We were happy to find this size.

It was the only full size dryer was able to buy that would fit in a door 27.5 inches. It works and I am happy.

lint filter could be better other the dryer is good

We bought a condo with limited space and GE is one of the only manufacturers we found making a full capacity washer and dryer for this space. We have used the washer and dryer for six weeks and the dryer works great. Because it uses gas it saves money on our energy bill. It is simple to operate and I really like that the lint filter is easily accessible.

Very good. Light inside drum is super. Not to many programs and gadgets.

Nice features, silent, great price and very economical. It runs on a 20lb LPG tank; same as my BBQ.

My former dryer (also a GE) gave up the ghost last summer (it came with the house when we bought it over 13 years ago, and was already over 20 years old). So when the time came to get a new dryer, I wanted something reliable and reasonably affordable. Unfortunately, living in an older home with narrow doorways also presented a challenge, and this was the only model available (short of getting an apartment-sized dryer) that worked. And I am very happy with it, and hope that I get as many years' use from this as I did with the previous dryer.

The dryer is a good basic machine with valuable features such as wrinkle guard. It works wonderful and the alarm is very loud. The only thing I don't like is the lint screen seems cheap and is in the dryer openning.

We have had this dryer for over 6 months and we are enjoying it so far. It does what it is supposed to do which is dry our clothes and we have not had any issues.

Purchased this model for the compact size. Seems to work just as well as the bigger more expensive models. Lets hope the issue with the lint filter doesn't lower my opinion about the machine. Time will tell.

We've had this washer for less than a week but have already done several loads. It cleans as expected but has a few terrific features that are new to us. The Precision fill is very convenient (I wasn't sure I'd like it but I really do). The extra spin setting works well and saves a lot of dryer time. It has a few new rules about not opening the lid and pausing the cycle which will take getting used to but overall we are very happy with this purchase.

I have used this appliance for somewhat less than a year. It works very well for me. It has the wrinkle care feature that I was looking for. I live in a condo with limited space and this is the only dryer that had both the features I was looking for and fit perfectly into the space available.

It is still relatively early to assess the product 's performance. So far so good.

Frequently my clothes come out damp regardless of which setting I am using.

This dryer broke while drying the first load. Making a loud grinding noise. I expected the dryer would have been tested prior to delivery.

I recently took delivery of this dryer. While drying the very first load, the dryer began making loud grinding noises. I had to shut down the dryer. I assumed that GE would test their products before shipping them to consumers. Now I have to be inconvenienced by being at home to await the GE repair man during a four hour period. If this is any indication of GE's quality, I plan on avoiding all of their alliances. Very disappointed.

It is the perfect size for our small household and has very few bells and whistles to break down. It does have the wrinkle care feature which works very well. It holds a surprising amount of laundry and dries things quickly. The buzzer is good and loud and can be turned off. My one complaint is with the lint trap. I just hate it. A LOT of lint get by it and it's actually hard to remove the lint that it catches. I end up vacuuming it out most of the time. I wish a little more thought had gone into that part of the design.

I purchased this dryer in Nov of 2012 and I am very happy with it. My last dryer took forever to dry anything, but this one is done even before the time is up and what is nice is that it will stop when it senses that the clothese are dry, which saves me money! I love it!! And it's very quiet, too...

I have owned this dryer for a couple of months now, and I've been very satisfied with my purchase. I've dried everything from cotton towels and sheets, permanent press slacks, and knit golf shirts. All have come out fine. The heat selections and automatic or timed loads cover all the laundry needs of a typical week.
