Bought this product figuring it formed a solid compound when cured. Bumps over screws remained "springy" after cure. Definitely not Shore A 60 hardness. "Autopsied" one of the bumps and it was full of air pockets. Evidently the product outgasses as it cures and traps the gas under the surface skin. My goal was a solid compound like cured silicone caulking, not a tough skinned sponge.

Easy to apply. Clean up easy before it sets using a rag with alcohol. Runs a bit so might need some touch up.

Used to reseal overlapping aluminum hull panels on an amphibious aircraft. Used per Lake Aircraft mfr. recommendations...

I used this adhesive to install foam on my Factory 5 car kit. It was easy to work with and has a long cure time to allow plenty of time to apply.

This is a great product. I used it to install a sink in a recreational vehicle. For my money - there is no equal.

I needed something that could be used above the waterline of my in ground pool. This 3M product was very drippy and harder to apply than most sealants or caulk I’ve used. Temp was 70 degrees. I will look for something else

If you want a permanent adhesive sealer for marine applications, this is it.

This stuff is an excellent sealant for marine applications. It adhered very well when I joined a plywood bow deck to fiberglass on my Carolina Skiff. It’s flexible and weather resistant. On a previous applications when I had to remove the deck I had to pry it off and scrape the product off. Be careful to wear protective gloves and clothing when using it.

Great but it was stuck on the bottom shelf not near other sealants but someone helped me search for it and finally saw it. Product worked great.

Applied it a week ago and it's still sticky.................. I guess I should have read reviews before trusting the brand of 3M.

Its a great product, good uplift rating for adhering sleepers to a flat roof that can't be penetrated with screws.

Great product with a great balance in working with wood and fiberglass.
