Great Narrow Beam Spotlight for Recessed Lighting Fixture
Cool light color enhances colors without moving too far into the "bright white" spectrum.

Better task lighting than previous halogen
Replaced six halogen lights with the LEDs. They provide better lighting for kitchen work at the sink and counters. Would have liked to try 3500K or 4000K bulbs for comparison.
Recommend ignoring terms like "bright white". The terms are not standardized among manufacturers and retailers. The Kelvin listing is much more accurate.

pricey bulb
I bought these for my exhaust hood over the cooking range to replace the halogen currently there. If you put the halogen and this bulb side by side they are the same height but for some reason the LED bulb is not as recessed and sticks out a little. Also the hi/lo function no longer works. These only work on HI. Since they are listed as dimable I thought that they would work the same as the halogen or a regular light bulb. The week after I bought these I noticed a different brand selling in my grocery store for half the price so I'm not that thrilled overall with this purchase.

expensive bulbs but very good light and design
very nice bulbs, but expensive, and I don't know if they will last as long as advertised.
