Cable was heavier gauge than the thin cable that came with the system that I purchased. Granted I bought an inexpensive system for my security application thus thin gauge cables were supplied.

Used this extension cable with security cameras purchased at Harbor Freight. Compatible and met my needs.

Although I left the local HD store because of what I considered to be a very rude employee, I purchased the product online and am very satisfied.
