I am pleased with this dehumidifier. It is quieter than the one I had for about 20 years. There is a filter which is easy to clean to help keep the coils from getting dirty. The only thing I don't like is the container that collects the water. It is easy to take out and put back, but there are so many bends, angles, partitions on the inside it makes it very difficult too clean and a little difficult to pour the water out. There is a nice handle to carry the container to empty it. I have had it about a month and am quite pleased with it.

Instructions were not at all clear; kind of ran together. Should be more clear on which paragraph will create what result...

Works well but is much louder than expected. If you completely empty it, the pan vibrates until enough water accumulates to be heavy enough to stop the rattle.

Doing Nicely!

It works well but the fan runs all the time. You can set the timer, but it doesn’t repeat. In other words, you can set it to run for 3 hrs and the shut off. But if you want to set it to run for 3 hrs, shut off for three hours and continue all day with that cycle, you can’t. Otherwise, it works.

It was so easy. Take it out of the box, plug it in, put the settings where you want them, and that was it. Took less than five minutes and does an excellent job!

Amazing product.In couple hours the 7.2 pints tank was full and two doors that did not want to close for the humidity closed like magic.I did not know why this happen ,later I understood.It is little noisy but stil I dont hear it from my room.

I have only had the dehumidifier for a few weeks but works as expected .It comes with a placenfor attaching a hose but not the necessary attachments so you have to purchase that separately which is a little disappointing..Easy to use!

There aren't any controls on the unit - just an on/off switch. My last dehumidifier had a hi/low setting plus a humidity level setting. It would turn off when the air reached the desired humidity level (rather than run forever even in dry conditions). That being said, as far as I can tell, it works. I couldn't attest to how many pints of water it removes from the air in a 24-hour period though.

Good however, be careful about energy consumption, as it is 500W if it runs for all day for the month it will cost you 70USD in electricity bill

All I can say is I emptied it 3 times in 12 hours when I first plugged it in. Got it late in the season but can't wait for next summer to see the AC bills fall. Very pleased with it.

The dehumidifier arrived promptly but to our surprise, it did NOT include the English manual nor the service warranty needed for the warranty. It included a French manual. We contacted them and they told us to print a PDF, however, they did not send us the SERVICE WARRANTY CARD.

Great! Just bought a new home and first day this machine took 4 buckets of water/moisture out of the air. I couldn't believe it. No more musty/mold filled basement for me :)

It doesn't connect to a hose to drain the water.

Our house is very humid. The RCA dehumidifier works great! It does put out warm air so I have to run my air conditioner a little cooler when I run it.

Didn't give it 5 stars because it does create more heat than our other dehumidifier (a Maytag). Setup super easy, no problems. Has larger collection bin than most competitive models. Noise level bearable, equal to our other dehumidifier. Has run well without problem. Small attractive casing.

WORKS LIKE A CHARM, EASY TO HOOK UP, QUIET, HAVING THE AUTO TIMER IS A BONUS! WORTH EVERY PENNY, AND IS MY SECOND ONE.

Easy to assemble. Auto shut off is GREAT! I was "not sure" about RCA...aren't they just for televisions? I guess not any more! Absolutely recommend!

Easy setup - running with hose connected to drain - need to buy hose separate - so far runs great and is quiet

Settings for humidity did not function properly, returned

Returned unused - when attempting to set up, found two very small screws that secure the outlet nozzle to the body were not included in the drain pan. After more than two hours wasted with "customer service" in Canada, I had to submit sales receipt paperwork before receiving 2 5 cent screws.
