Has worked well for the two weeks I’ve had it. Has done well on a variety of gauges of metal and types of metal from sheet metal to steel. Anxious to see long term results. Shipping and delivery worked well also.

I first purchased a LTP2000 plasma cutter. Had some warranty problems with it and Home Depot was GREAT to deal with. They swapped it out for this unit for the same price. I have only used the Plasma Cutter function of this unit but it works great. I wish Lotos had a better way of keeping the plasma torch head from touching the metal when cutting. The little wire standoff thingy pretty well sucks, especially compared to better units. As far as cutting and consumables and cost, this unit is great. Cuts just fine, pilot arc works great. The ground lead is WAY too short, which is goofy because the plasma cutting and TIG torch leads are plenty long, but the ground lead is just too darn short. I had to create my own that was the same length as torch lead. Overall I am very happy with the plasma cutting function of the unit, especially for the price, and Home Depot's warranty and services makes this a safe bet. I would prefer to have a Lincoln or Miller or Hypertherm plasma cutter, but they are three times the price of this unit and this one does what I want just fine.

I bought mine a few months ago. After reading some old reviews i didnt know what to expect. I bought through home depot so i had a local store to return it to. I wired up a 240v outlet in my garage, with help from the HD folks, to get the most juice i could to it. I also bought a 30gal husky air compressor to feed the plasma cutter. Woo hoo!!!! It cuts anything and everything I've thrown at it--including railroad track!!! Of course, over the recommended maximum thickness it isn't a pretty cut and it uses a lot of consumable in those cases, but it does the job. I just love it love it love it. Get one. But be safer than me. I dont always wear long sleeves or pants and sometimes get burned. Ouch. Nevertheless, this bad boy is so much fun my wife gets jealous.

Purchased the LTPDC2000D Welder/TIG/Plasma and it has not really worked since I got it. The first time I had to send back to the manufacture because the welder stopped working. Got the replacement in and now the plasma cutter has stopped working. Now I have to call the manufacture AGAIN to get it replaced. What will break this time? I would NOT NOT NOT recommend this product at all.

I purchased this item in March of 2021 and had some issues with the plasma cutter upon delivery. I contacted the LOTOS support staff and they were quick to respond. After some debug, they sent me a new unit - which was re-tested before shipment - and I've had no trouble since. They also emailed me some demonstration videos and sent me some supplies at no charge for my troubles. I've just a few small complaints - the ground clamp is a bit flimsy and the cable is a bit too short for my liking. A longer one is available for purchase - it uses an industry standard Dinse style connector, so options exist. I'd recommend this for home / DIY use and would purchase it again.

I absolutely LOVE it! Customer Service is one on the BEST! Had one issue and got my replacement part (FREE), shipped very quick. I have had this welder for almost 5 years. Just can’t go wrong. It does everything I need.

Good for the price happy so far

I returned the unit as it didn't work as well as advertised and quit working for a period. It was advertised to cut up to 1/2 inch of steel but I was cutting 1/4 inch and could have done a better job with a gas torch. Maybe something was wrong with the machine I had but it didn't meet any of the expectations I had other than very easy to use.

Have owned it for a week. Very easy to set up and use. Works well. Have only used stick welder and plasma cutter. Would buy again.

The plasma cutter cut though half inch steel like butter haven't tried aluminum yet. I had to run an air hose from my air compressor to the back of the machine. The stick welder worked great. The best part about the stick is that I can set the amps to any number I want, not like my old stick( lincoln) where it jumps by 15 amps. I have only tig welded once before. Didn't go to well. This time I have read every thing I could get my hands on even bought some cheap how to tig books. I love this thing, I have been welding with this thing for a month or so. Welded up my muffler and the pipes before and after. It went very well, some welds didn't look the greatest. But all went well. You will need to add a tank of argon gas to run the tig welder.

This is an inverter machine, so it is very light and portable. It also uses the latest IGBT circuits inside for a very reliable build. If you take the cover off, you will see that there is great attention to detail inside; big heat sinks, lots of copper, coated circuit boards, and an absence of cheap welder tricks like pools of solder on boards. I really like the ability to see the amperage, rather than setting the knob to “4” on some other welders. It makes repeat welds super easy. On the plasma cutter, I recommend turning it up to 50 amps and move as fast as you can. The cuts are cleaner on the right side as you pull it, so bear that in mind when you are planning your cuts. This is a DC machine, so aluminum is tricky, but doable. Just don’t expect shiny clean looking welds. I think that this would be a great machine at twice the price. It is way better than the 3N1 Klutch welder it replaced. You get to add your own plug on this machine, so pick one up at Home Depot. Run it on 220. Trust me. One tip; this takes special plasma cutter consumables. Don’t buy pink or red ones. Look for ones that are advertised for brown Lotos plasma cutters.

I bought the unit primarily for the plasma cutter which works fantastic.. Has high frequency auto start which works great. I don’t think it mentions in the description that the unit is a inverter machine which is very light in comparison.. Very portable..

Stick welding was good but the plasma cutter tripped the 20 amp breaker after 20-30 seconds of straight use. Also I think they should supply the adapter plug and work it into the price

The way they advertise this machine mentioning that it can weld aluminum it cannot weld aluminum TIG, and that was the reason why I bought a combo, other than that everything works fine so far

The welder was easy to assembleand cuts better than all described. I’m still waiting on a tank of argon for tig welding. The pressure gage was broken when i opened it to assembled the reg/filter. I reported it to the mfr but I have nit heard back yet. I was going to buy one but it is metric thread

I attained my 3 in 1 stick together plasma machine in September. Just recently I began to have some issues with the pilot arc. I called customer service & they walked me through a trouble shooting guide & we were able to get it functioning again. They were very professional and always got back to me in a timely manner. The machine I purchased from them also is very good quality, I had put a very high amount of hours on it with no issues. It cuts metal well, runs a very smooth bead on smaw mode, and does Tig well. A few weekslater the pilot arc gave out on me again so I contacted lotos again & they had all of my records saved from when I bought it, to notes of my previous issues. After contacting them they had me send the old one back and sent me a new unit, no questions asked! Not only did they send a brand new unit, but a new plasma torch, Tig torch, regulators, ground clamp, electrode holder, etc..Very impressed & highly recommended! It's good to know they stand behind their machines and will take care of their customers!A

Cuts much nicer than the 110 volt models. Well worth wiring a 220 volt receptacle.

I haven't used the TIG yet, but I've plasma cut lots of 1/4 in. steel with no problems. When I cut 1/2 in. steel I had to go very slow. I max out the amp setting when cutting these thick steel pieces. For the stick welder, I used 6013 and 7018 with no problems. I had current ~150 A.

The power outlet is not compatable for any 220 pig tails. I have to specially order a pigtail from you, and it’s only good for 115. In order to use this machine I have to reduce the wiring to utilize an actual 220 plug. Very poor engineering. This should also be disclosed on ur web site.

Worked great cuts like a champ

This plasma cutter works grate. I have not used any of the other systems yet. This machine was awesome for replacing my floor pans in my 1970 for truck. This is a simple system to use and I would recommend this for anyone.

I have read countless reviews about how sorry this machine is. It is a very well built, performing and convenient machine at a very good price. I was so scepticle of purchasing with all of the terrible reviews. It came with a plug. It came with extra consumables for tig torch and plasma torch. No they dont send a bunch of them but they have them for a very reasonable price. The arc weld is powerful enough to weld 5/32 rods. NO you cant keep an arc struck for 4 hrs at the time, but this machine is not designed for that and they tell that. The plasma cutter works very well. Cutting 1/4" mild steel at 40 amp like butter. Will cut at 30amps but 40 will cut cleaner. Have not used tig as of yet, but by what I see with the arc welder I know there will be no problems at all with the tig weld function. Instruction booklet is detailed and very specific. Has 2014 copyrite date so I really dont know what the problem with the reviews about it didnt tell enough. Its not a How to weld booklet. Its a machine put together booklet. Very good quality machine. Very well priced. Buy you one. You wont be dissapointed, but remember to keep in mind what this machine is designed to do. 1/4" steel and under "PERFECT"

It is not 110/220v. It will only run on 220v. The stinger has a lock run switch and it is not very convenient.
