Clean look
Fit perfectly and easily, just like screwing in a light bulb. Product even worked with original dimmer switch, nice soft light.

amazing
These really look great. They are a little whiter and less of a warm white than i was expecting but they still look great. I did find that I had to used the included 'friction blades' instead of the 'torsion springs' to get a good flush to the ceiling look. One of my existing can lights flickers so Ill probably have to cut the wires on the adapter piece that is supposed to screw into the existing bulb socket and splice them together with wires up inside the junction box of the can light housing. Assuming your old can light housing and bulb socket are still good these attach very easily.

Attactive LED Flood Lights with Trim Baffles
I have gradually replaced all my incandescent lights in my entire house and have about 20 of these. Finally got one LED light that didn't work but Home Depot was very courteous and made it right so I could easily replace the defective LED at the local store. The LED lights look very attractive and very easy to install, gives off plenty of light and work very well with an LED dimmer. There is however, a slight delay when you turn on the light switch before the lights actually turn on. Not a big issue though. Saving big $$ on my energy bill with these LED lights. They are more expensive than incandescent or even compact fluorescent lights but those have hazardous materials inside. LED's use far less energy and never get hot.

Great LED to put in 6 inch cans
Bought these for various rooms in my house, and they light up the rooms extremely well. They are wet rated and have them on large porches and do so well that I decided not to get light kits on my ceiling fans. For example, I have 4 cans in master room with a vaulted ceiling (14x18 ft), two cans on vaulted patio off of master (14x10), 2 cans on front porch (10x10) with 10 ft. ceiling, and I have plenty of light. Only had them in for a month so I don't know if they will live up to the life span suggested on the box, but so far they work better than I expected.

Solution for Falling Lights, Dimmer, and Air Leak
These can lights put the light down were needed, and do not waste much light in the fixture, so you actually get more usable light. The angle of the light is very wide, which is great for lighting up a big area. I think the wide angle makes the house look more complete and clean, but light is more likely to shine in one's eyes (not too bad, worth it to me!). They come with a foam gasket to help seal them to the ceiling (not visible when installed); which I think will save more energy from reduced conditioned air flow loss through can lights into the attic than electricity saved. I used foil (duct) tape to seal up the inside of my IC rated cans before I installed these to add another airtight layer, like double pane windows! There is also energy savings from air conditioning less heat made by cooler lights. If you are buying new cans with these LEDs, get the IC (Insulation Contact) rated ones so they can legally be sealed and covered with insulation. The IC rated cans have a thermal switch to turn off the light if the fixture gets too hot (perhaps from putting an old incandescent bulb back in). These LEDs hardly get warm. Falling lights: My 1983 house came with 6-inch completely round can lights and 6-inch can lights, which have a round opening through the drywall and a square box above. The LED lights clip smoothly into the all round can lights; however, the clips in the square boxes are farther apart. I bent the wire on the light to stick out more as shown below (pictured: top is before, bottom is after). All it takes is a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the coil to the light fixture while making bends by hand (two bends per wire sticking out, eight total). The manufacturer could add another screw hole for 6 inch round can lights with square boxes, but it would take about the same amount of time to adjust either way. Dimmer: They are 2700K from 10-100 percent dimmed, which the color of most unfiltered incandescent lights only when not dimmed. These LEDs dim very smoothly. 100 percent and dimmed I have not noticed any humming or buzzing noise as I've notice with incandescent lights on the same dimmer and other LEDs. The product directions indicated having at least four lights on a dimmer provides enough current for most dimmers to function properly. I put only one light on the Lutron dimmer pictured (potentially from 1983, but looks like what is still sold in Wal-Mart) rated only for incandescent; however, it dims smoothly all the way to 0% (see picture with light at roughly one percent in background). I will update if I have any problems. I bought 38 of them through Home Depot (2 for 25 USD after Thanksgiving 2015). To see price history go to PriceZombie or CamelCamelCamel.

    Recessed Lighting Alternative
Over the last few months I have installed 18 of these lights in my home. I highly recommend them. Nothing on the market works as well or is as easy to install anywhere near this price point and they are significantly brighter than the 60 watt incandescent flood light bulbs that they replaced. I could feel air coming in from our recessed lighting and often bugs would drop in through them. These sealed our home and improved energy efficiency by sealing off the air exchange that was occurring from the attic and of course the energy efficiency of the light it self; a win-win.

    Can't beat it!!!
These were recommended to me by my brother after he changed out his kitchen fixtures. He's pretty picky and shops around for the best price and bang for your buck, so I decided to take his advice and go for it. I just purchased a house a few months back and have been doing many renovations. Full remodel on 2 bathrooms, dining room and kitchen upgrades. I have installed these EVERYWHERE!!!!!! So far up to date I have installed 64 throughout every freaking room!!!! I can honestly say I can't stand lamps, cords etc etc.... Recessed lighting is the cleanest and most economical way to go, they are out of sight and out of mind. I have used these LED lights in every fixture, including inside both showers!!!! The gasket material and springs work very well to keep a tight seal and no moisture buildup whatsoever. I have a couple extra for just in case a problem arises but so far so good, not one problem. My ceiling cans range from 5" to 6", both old work and new construction as well as standard Edison socket and dedicated LED cans... Pretty much have tossed these LEDs in almost every recessed can type you can buy and not one problem experienced. Highly recommend installing a dimmer switch as I find I rarely ever find myself using them up to full brightness and might as well save a few pennies for Uncle Sam throughout the year. These are WARM lights, kind of a yellow but natural color tone to them. I have used DAYLIGHTERS in the past and find the blue hue just messes with your eyes and causes headaches... Literally headaches.... So all in all in the end... I highly recommend you buying the 2-Pack version if you can find them and save a couple of bucks along the way as it's cheaper than singles and even the 12-pack case version (which is odd to me) and that's my story.

I am upgrading 30 6 inch can lights that I installed 15 years ago. Great light, super easy install, and the metal brackets hold the lights securely. Great deal on the discontinued 2 packs if you can find them (under $19).

Energy efficiency is not the only benefit...
I've installed more than 20 of these. They are without a doubt more energy-efficient than their incandescent counterparts. For the price, quality is exceptional, and they are a breeze to install if your recessed cans accept the torsion spring mounts. One of the biggest benefits that nobody seems to mention is the fact that they are a sealed assembly vs. the traditional trim+bulb. They stay absolutely clean because spiders and other insects don't get past the seal around the trim and into the can. Results may vary depending on the condition of the surface around the trim, but if your ceiling is relatively even and smooth, the seal is very effective. I hated how our old recessed lights attracted all sorts of insects and cobwebs, especially in the garage. I always had to vacuum them out when I replaced bulbs. No more. The latest batch I purchased from Home Depot come in 4-packs for roughly the same price as I used to pay for a single retrofit. They are still Commercial Electric, but the construction is a bit cheaper. The trim is thinner plastic for example, but they are still sturdy enough and look the same when installed. I have had mixed results with different dimmers. I have purchased dimmers that are on the "approved list" which didn't work well, and have used these with old existing dimmers with great results. The conclusion I have drawn is that the dimming performance of these retrofit kits do not match that of a traditional incandescent, and that's all there is to it. I'm confident LED technology will evolve to that level eventually, but in my experience it's close, but not quite there yet. If you can live with that, then you'll be pleased with these LED retrofits.

          Bright & nice looking
Bought four of these recessed lights. They were installed by a handyman. He installed them with very little difficulty considering he had to cut through drywall. I bought a dimmer & glad I did. These lights are wonderful & add a beautiful look to your area. I used them in my kitchen. Buy a dimmer you won't regret it. The lights are very bright so with the dimmer you can control the brightness.

            Very Happy with Purchase
I am very pleased with these lights. I have some of the older ones that costs around $45.00 each when they first came out and they all have a delay when you turn the light switch to on. These newer less expense versions have no delay and come on immediately. The technology is much better now and they replaced the cans that my builder put in that were cheap and all yellowed. These lights look really nice and don't delay when turning on which is a big improvement. Thank you!

            Outstanding, ordering another dozen
If a 63 year-old woman can install 6 in less than 10 minutes, I would imagine just about anyone can install these fantastic lights. They look great! Ordering more to replace the whole house.

Good application at a fair price but...
I bought a bunch of these on Black Friday and didn't install them for several weeks. Sorry I waited as once we put them in we found the listed lumens on the batch I got is way off. The box says they are equivalent to 65 watts but they are way brighter than similar units I have installed in another room. These things are way too bright a full power. Installed with a dimmer and had to turn the dimmer way down.

Perfect LED replacemnt for recessed ceiling light
Easy to install. Fits tight to the ceiling. Puts the right amount of light out for the room. Dimming works well without buzzing noise with this LED Dimmer switch: Leviton SureSlide Model R62-06674-PoW. I tried the lights with an old demmer switch, but the lights buzzed, turned off on their own and one would stay dimly lit with the switch off. I installed 8 of them and would recommend them to others.

These lights installed easily and look fine They are instant-on and quite bright. They are great in the laundry room but even though they are 2700k color my wife feels they would be too bright white for the living room

                  Very clean appearance
Very clean appearance with one-piece bulb with the trim and it seals well to ceiling. You do not need full height cans with this since it is LED.. the unit also comes with connector that matches orange plug on this light, so they are 'plug and play'.

We changed our recessed lights to the new LED and could not be happier. If you are thinking about doing it, do not hesitate. These lights are bright...but not too bright. Looking forward to seeing the longevity and the cost savings of the power by doing so!

Had to order these online since my local HD was out of stock. They arived in good condition and faster than they said. If your installing them in a 5" can you need to adjust the springs. I have these in a small room and they work great. Can't wait to put the rest in the next room I'm working on.

Great Replacement for old recessed lights.
Easy for me and the look my wife wanted. Real easy to install. Just removed the cover and bulb from old light. you only have to screw in the power adapter in to the existing light socket and clip the light into the existing slots. Comes with two types of clips. For me the clips it came installed with worked in almost all of my cans.

                    Good all-around can light
Overall I think this is a great light. Good warm 2700K color, easy installation, looks great, etc. My only wish is that it put out more lumens. I think it puts out somewhere in the mid 600's. I would have loved for it to be more in the 900 lumen range. There are others available that put out that amount of light (and more), but for more money of course. For the price, this one has been great.
