Very pleased with the trim rings. While installing a tongue and groove knotty pine ceiling in our cottage we decided to add a few cans in another area. This finish perfectly complements the stain. We decided to replace existing trim with these rings as well, which required R&R five existing cans which weren’t compatible with this trim. Despite having to remove and replace the existing cans it was well worth it. Note: the trim rings appeared more silvery than we expected but once installed the blend beautifully.

I added 9 of these to my new kitchen. Providing the housings are installed properly, I had no problem getting a tight fit against the ceiling. The trim kit covered the rough openings as expected. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again.
