[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a lot of chainsaw carving and keeping a sharp chain is essential. Using a round hand file to manually sharpen each tooth was a chore I dreaded because of the time and effort. The Dremel Chainsaw sharpener bit requires minimal effort and cut my sharpening time by more than half-allowing me to remain focused on my carving.

Much quicker than a hand file - just be careful not to overdo it. The problem with this product is that the packaging does not specify the grindstone diameter so examining it on the store shelf you're left guestimating whether it matches your saw. Unforgivable oversight.

I go through a lot of these. When I am cutting firewood. I want my saw sharp and at the right pitch. I uses these with the Chain saw attachment and it keeps my blades razor sharp. Cuts through the wood like hot butter. Very inexpensive so I keep a good supply on hand. In the field I use my battery operated Dremel and in the shop I use the corded version. Good stuff

The longevity of the stones does not impress me. They seem to wear down quickly.

The product does what it is intended to do, e.g., sharpen a chainsaw chain.

Needed to clean gorilla glue out of a wood groove and sanding pads, wheels just weren't cutting it The grinding stone did the trick !

This was perfect for my need, slightly enlarging a hole in an aluminum tube. I do not have a Dremel, but used the grinding stone with a standard cordless Ryoki drill. Thanks to the HD associate who suggested the Dremel grinding stone for my purpose.

This is much easier than using my electric chain saw sharpener with which I have to remove the chain and struggle with re-installing it. AND...It does a decent job with sharpening.

The 5/32 was perfect for my 18”blade
