Perfect for a clay pot. I could not find one H D worker to help me. A nice man was on the same aisle with me and he spent about 10 minutes explaining things to me and helping me find the exact masonry drill bit I needed. Without his help, my project would have been ruined.

Drill bit wouldn’t even complete one hole in conventional brick; it became blue and dull very quickly. I threw it away and was forced to buy other, replacement bits.

One of the few lower priced masonry bits available at Home Depot. Was the right tool for the job I had to do. I'd recommend it for the light duty non-rotary hammer drill I had for the job.

COMPLETELY USELESS!!! I was shocked because I only put just enough pressure to engage the hammer function of the hammer drill. I have had good luck in the past with Bosch bits in the past, I guess

We used these when drilling for handrail post brackets in a span of concrete steps. They did the job and held up better than other masonry bits we've used in the past. It's probably my fault that they came as rotary bits and can NOT be used in a hammer drill. That makes the job a little harder and takes a little longer. But, again, the bits held up very well and got the job done. When all is said and done, that's what counts!

Received the 7/16 IN. X 4 IN. X 6 IN. CARBIDE FAST SPIRAL MASONRY BIT last week and was able to use it the same day that I received it. I needed to drill 36 holes in to my garage floor to install a strip across the garage entry to keep the tiles in place when driving in to the garage. I figured I would be able to maybe get 15 hole drilled before replacing it, I was very surprised when I drilled all 36 hole with one bit. Great product I would recommend it.

yes, drilled hole right through bricks which top the 4" wide cinder blocks that line the sides of the new flagstone path that leads to our front door now. 12v landscaping lights from hd are held in place as they go through the holes in the bricks and shine onto the path.

made wiring an electrical outlet in a bay window easier.
I used this drill to complete the path needed though a stone and mortar base for a bay window; installing receptacles for direct plug-in electrical window candles for year round use. The drill effortlessly made the path needed for the power cable to the receptacles.

Did the job fast and easy
I was going to use an old bit I had at home but HD had this bit, and the price was right so I gave it a try. I used it to increase the size of 2 holes I had cut through concrete block. In order to do this I had to drill 20 smaller holes and chisel out the material. The drill bit held up great and is still like new.

cheap bit, equal results
I bought this bit to put 4 holes in brick to mount a flag pole bracket. I chose this bit due to price and the fact that I was using a non hammer drill which the package clearly states to use. After drilling one hole the bit is now useless. I can't even get the bit to start another hole. I will now be purchasing a different brand to finish the other 3 holes.
