I haven't installed the faucet stem just yet, but it looks like the original OEM part.Workmanship on the part looks good.

Went in and worked fine, Note: if the faucets stems are horizontal like a shower or some wall hung sinks the hot and cold designations are reversed - i.e. to replace a faucet on the right buy a hot stem instead of a cold. (hot and cold designates whether turn off is clock wise vs counter CW)

Not an easy part to find for such an old shower.

Three things, First as others have said they sell the hot stem as the CCW to open, and cold as CW to open, backwards for shower valves. Second the stems are short, not too short as to not work but shorter than what they replaced. The real problem was the valve seat. They were not right at all. The tub shower application ( I have one that is 2 valve shower only and one that is 3 valve shower & tub) take an valve seat that is over 1 inch long. And the tool sold to remove the seat will break the long seat before it removes it. So there you are with no seat so you can't turn the water back on untill you go online and order new seats.

I replaced stems and seat on a shelf mounted faucet. Installation went well but teflon tape was needed to seal the seat. However it seems that the stem for the cold side was really a hot because it turned the wrong way.

The part fit my faucet perfectly, thanks to having the tools to measure the piece I needed in an old faucet.
