Overall this shower base made our remodel job easier, however, it would work better if the slope was a little more prominent. Water sits in corners until I squeegee it away.

Special order, took forever to come, ended up returning and building a custom pan. Sides to tall for practical application, flimsy. With they waterproofing membranes and paint they have now this and similar products are completely unnecessary if you can build a concrete form.

The tile redi shower base had all the instructions needed for the install. However I had to do a little research on youtube for grouting the stone I used. The base feels very strong and the finished product looks great. I am very happy! The Dude.

We purchased this for our contractor to install. The issue is that there isn't any slope to the drain. Therefore, every time we take a shower, we have to squeegee the water to the drain or else it just sits on the tile and in the corners. I am certainly not happy that after the cost of this purchase and the cost of my contractor, I am left with a bathroom that I am very unhappy with.

It seems a bit expensive for a pan made from a rigid foam but it saved a lot of time compared to making one out of mud.

These shower pans are fool proof. I used mine with 1/2 in. wonderboard. They are strong and sound, once you bed them with mortar. The drain is set up perfectly. I really have no complaints about this product. There is a online video to help you with the installation.

This saved me a lot of time not having to build a mortar base so that part was good. Here are my suggestions and tips. Frame right up to the base as close as you can Use regular mortar, NOT quick set. The quick set gets hard to fast and makes it hard to level MAKE SURE its level. The slope to drain is not that great. I had pooling of water and had to adjust the tiles after they set. Not fun Use the flashing they offer The epoxy they give you is good and strong Note to manufacture: We need more of a slope to the drain. Otherwise, is a good design

I was a little worried when i first opened the box to find a foam shower base. But after installation (wasn't bad for a DIYer) the Redi Base is rock solid!

The tile ready Pan is great. It's just way over price. It's 3 times as high as it should be.

Shower base was lost in transit. It took me countless hours on phone with trucking company and Home Depot to get a refund.

Had a customer insist this was what she wanted to use. It's 3x the amount of a schulter system. . So list of what's wrong. Wasn't molded to drain correctly. Have to use thier epoxy mortar that is outrageous. Customer service didn't/doesn't care that the product is defective. And wouldn't help remedy. Run run run. And home Depot, seriously don't push this product

This thing is virtually impossible to install correctly. You have to shimmy it down into a mortar bed while simultaneously making a connection to the PVC drain pipe before the solvent dries. How you are supposed to shimmy a pan back & forth in a 3-sided enclosure while it's cemented in the middle to a pipe is beyond me. And if you don't get the mortar to migrate up into the ribs on the bottom, the flimsy foam pan is going to break (yes, it's made of foam, despite the outrageous cost). We got it done by laying it upside-down and pre-filling the ribs with mortar, placing a piece of durarock over that (otherwise the hardened mortar will fall out because the foam is non-porous), and letting it harden. Then we had to use a lever and strap system to install it because it weighed about 100 pounds at that point. For the time and trouble and expense of getting this thing installed, I could have built 6 shower pans from scratch.

Do not care for the new material. Not as rigid to much give.

Really pleased with the result. It is expensive, but in the end, the shower floor drains properly (no puddles) and is worry free. Very happy with this and would recommend

The shower pan was easy to install and looks great!

Expensive piece of poor quality junk!Bottom remains flexible (oil cans)after Installation per the sorry generic instructions that came with it. One set of instructions covers six models.I should have known better and sent this product back. I will let everyone I know what a poor decision I made in using this product. Maybe Home Depot needs to re-think there relationship with this vendor.NEVER AGAIN TILE REDI.HD order H3662-76765
