Very disappointed with this sweeper. Check out the picture. First time I used it the frame for the basket was bending which was only half a load. Large basket was nice but engineering failed on making framework strong enough to support it. Canvas for basket is thin and wearing through at front corners and need something different than velcro to hold canvas to frame. Maybe the engineers should get out of the office and try using the product after they design it so their work doesn’t make agri-fab look like a crappy company.

This sweeper seems to be well built and it does pick up wet leaves very well. It is very easy to overload the large hopper to the point it will be difficult to dump the leaves. The fabric bag is too weak to handle the heavier load and mine was torn and the bottom rear seam was torn after only two cleanups. I would recommend not filling the hopper to capacity when picking up wet leaves. I am also planning to install some type of auto control to lift the hopper when traveling to my dump area. With a full hopper you will be dragging the bag on the ground and possibly causing damage to the hopper.

I’ve only used it a couple of times so far but am very impressed! I got my front yard cleaned up in the fraction of the time it used to take and didn’t touch a rake once. I first ran over the leaves with the mower to mulch them up a bit, and then cleaned them up with the sweeper. I found that going faster than slower got the best results. If you go too slow, the brushes don’t throw the material far enough back into the basket. Well worth the money!

Don't get me wrong, this is a great tool. However, the handle does not work with my Zero turn mower. Simple Fix, i replaced it with a 1/4 in rope which could be included in the box with some kind of handle. Also, the pivot lock pin is too hard to mess with, maybe change to something spring loaded? And then, The instruction guide and the video need to discuss the height of the drawbar and why its important to be level with the mower. and finally, the hopper support rods need something on the end of them to keep them from falling out when in use.

I would have given a 5 star because the function of this sweeper does an amazing job, but I feel there's a few design issues. After one use the material that holds the hopper on the frame started tearing on both sides and one of the clevis pins and cotter pins popped off. If the material was a little sturdier and the cotter pin used to hold the clevis pin was of a different design and tighter I do believe the issues would be rectified. While waiting for the replacement parts my husband put duc tape to reinforce the material by the frame and zip tied the frame where the clevis came out. That held up!! The company did make it right.

Just purchased this for sweeper for cleaning up the cabin yard we just purchased last fall. Tons of pine trees with needles and pine cones along with a few oak trees providing acorns. There were also a lot of small twigs and branches in this mess. The yard is so thick with this debris mix the grass could not grow! Raking this is a chore and the lot is over an acre. I reviewed sweepers and this make and model kept popping up as on of the best to buy for the money. Well I just used it and it worked amazingly!! Pulled closed to dozen heavy loads of this mess. I even pulled it though long rows of this rake up mess and it just put most of it in the bin. This worked awesome for me! Only issue i had were the two bar rods that hold the back open and support it. Could be a better design.

Had for one season and the bag is separating at the seam on the bottom. Sent in warranty request......we will see

Have just begun to use the product and overall I am pleased with how well it performs its intended function. Assembly was a two person job but didn't take more than an hour to have it operational for first use. The sweeper performs very well as does the ability to dump while still sitting on the tractor. The only gripe I have (otherwise five stars) is with the storage of the unit. Storage the bag is simple but the two arms that hold the bag, once the outermost pin is removed to allow them to fold in, now has them swinging in and out at an alarming rate causing banged up shins, dents in the housing, and a bend in one of the pieces as it was captured in the sweeper and pulled when trying to push the unit into its intended storage space. There should be a way to secure the two bars once folded in so they cannot move while putting into, or taking out of, storage.

First of all, I have to put in here that I don't normally submit customer reviews on products.. but on this purchase, I felt I had to. I recently purchased a property that has a lot of pine trees on it, and therefore a lot of pine cones to pick up. The agri-fab sweeper was the only one that mentioned pine cones as far as being able to pick them up, and it was accurate! What would have been 40 to 50 hours worth of raking and picking up pine cones, twigs and leaves, turned into 3 hours of effectiveness. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a Lawn Sweeper. You DEFINITELY get what you pay for!

The sweeper is well made but I received it from the store damaged? It wasn’t the store fault it was the shipping company fault. Still was able to use it? One of the problems that I see is the bottom of the basket doesn’t align back up evenly after dumping? It ends up rubbing one of the wheels?

A revolution for my 1.1 acre lawn. Pricy, but worth every penny!!

While the assembly instructions were slightly confusing (according to a few pictures), I put it together without much issue. No doubt, it saves a TON of time, work, and effort. With just over an acre to deal with, I should easily be able to keep up with falling leaves without dreading the process.

I have a 1 acre lawn with tons of trees. This sweeper was fairly easy to put together and I used it for the first time today. It easily picks up everything I need and the dump function is very easy and convenient while riding my mower. Highly recommend.

Has worked better than expected on oak and pine needles. Does the work fast. Easy to use

Works well with dry leaves on a calm day. The leaf dumping is easy, but you quickly run out of space in where to dump leaves. It does store away very nicely! I would buy it again.

It works great. I pull it behind my riding lawn mower, super easy to pull and empty.

Bought this the other day and am very happy I did. Was quick assembly using only the instructions that came with it - no words, just pictures - but had it out of the box and on my tractor in about 40 minutes. Pulled it with two different John Deere garden tractors and it was great. Easy to back into area where I was dumping leaves and turned along with the tractors well. I could easily reach the handle to dump and only had to get off my tractor to set the sweeping height when starting and stopping work. A few knocks I have on this sweeper is that the bag ripped in two places, one where one of the connecting pins caught and tore it. I wasn't real easy with it but wasn't rough with it either. Anyway, nothing some duct tape can't fix. The other knock is that I would have liked the transfer position for traveling from storage to area of work would actually disengage the brushes. The transfer position is just a higher position and the brushes are still engaged and spinning. Overall, I am happy I purchased and would recommend. I would also recommend carrying a knife with you if you don't normally as it will come in handy to cut some longer items that can get wrapped around the brushes.

Build directions are hard to follow. The materials are fine, however the catch bag has already torn after one use. There is a metal support bar in the front of the bag that acts like a knife and cuts the bag material on each end. AgriFab support replaced the bag, but I expect it will just tear again. I plan to dip the ends of the metal bar to avoid it cutting the bag in the future.

The paper instructions are not great, the video instructions are 100% better, didn't take long to put together. It worked just like i thought it would. The leaves on the surface get picked up easily, the leaves that are embedded in the grass you have to pass over a few times to pick them up. It picks up pine needles as well. All In all the sweeper works perfectly. It's a lot better then having to rake them.

Fall clean up is a whole lot easier with this sweeper !! What used to take me all day to rake can be done in just a few minutes. I really like how easy it is to dump the leaves when the basket is full !! Absolutely worth the investment!

This product is my all-time favorite yard implement. This is my second one that I've owned. My first one broken axle but we still under warranty and customer service got a new one out to me in a timely manner. Would buy again

I found this unit to be well built with many features that my old sweeper did not have. The hopper is bigger and easier to dump and can be easily removed for storage. The frame and mechanism is much more substantial and has a very good positive adjustment method than the cheap units with the friction disc. As a bonus, it is a pretty good colour match to that of my lawn tractor!

plastic wheel gear stripped out in less than 1 season. bag is already falling apart. warranty was good in that they replaced the wheels but then the pins cam loose on the bag right after. owned a lawn sweeper previous for 10 years and it was way better. already steered a friend away from buying this brand.

This is a very good piece of equipment so far. I have used it three times on my acre and a half lawn to sweep up lawn clippings after I mowed and it really works great for me. It is very easy to tow and you can dump without getting off the mower. It does a good job sweeping up the cut grass and now that the leaves are starting to fall it sweeps them up as well. All in all I would defi itely recommend it.

The only thing I had a question on was were the wheels already oiled? And where was the tow mode lever at? They were not noted in the manual.

I bought this new and only used a few times I had it on the second to the highest setting. The plastic wheel gear stripped out and now sweeper is junk. Why would you design a plastic gear against a metal gear. The wheel gear should be metal also to prevent immediate breakdown

I bought this 2 weeks ago. The video was very helpful. No problems assembling. No tools required. The box had never been opened, yet, the product had 2 deep gouges and a boot print. Kinda thought it was funny. Imagining the employee at 5 oclock friday giving it a boot during assembly.

At first it seemed nice. Paint is scratched but that could have been from retailer. Then when I was mounting one of the brackets I noticed the sheet metal was welded in such a way the holes overlapped... Only way to get the pin through was to drill out the extra metal, so I was then able to put it together. Instructions are pretty poor as well.

Purchased 2 weeks ago and have used it for 2 days. Assembly wasn't too bad, though I'd recommend using REAL photos, not the simple pictures included. My problem is with dumping. If you fill the sweeper as full as pictured on the web site, it will dump all over the front of the sweeper, including into the brushes and over the top of the lip. I have a lot to care for, and making many trips to dump smaller loads is a pain. All else works well, and if you have a lawn without too many trees, you'll do fine.

This sweeper is an amazing workhorse. I'm 70 years old and no longer fear raking leave. I'm a little disappointed in the construction, but I admit the price is amazing. The plastic basket was starting to tear from rubbing against metal, but warranty service is great. They sent me a new basket. One other issue is the lower, leading edge. A few times I have hit tree roots and it has bent the edge. I hammered out most of the damage. I don't see it affecting the performance.
