The quality and color of the wood is great. Much nicer than in the picture. My husband felt it was relatively easy to build. Just a few gaps here and there at joints, but for the price an overall nice fireplace for heating and style.

Product is awesome although I had to have my son (I'm 76) come over and assemble it was worth the wait. I also contacted customer service and was given the sale price that saved me $145. On a limited income that helps so much! I love my fireplace, it has a timer to allow me to set and enjoy for hours while my tv sets perfectly on top. It warms my room and the fire seems so real. Go Home Depot!!!

I purchased this unit for use in the bedroom, and used a quality corner cabinet unit to raise the fireplace to eye-level when resting in bed. It works GREAT and looks BEAUTIFUL. It was very easy to assemble, and we have used the fireplace and the timer every night since we got it. Cindy in Texas

I ordered the fire place on sunday and got it on friday. very easy to put together.

It is a nice attractive corner piece, however I don't think it heats 400 sq. ft. because my living room is only 12' x 24' and it does not keep it that warm. The heat blows very low. I like that you can set it for a certain amount of time and I like the way it looks with the artificial flame. I also had to order this on-line and had to pay for shipping. It was not fun putting it together.

It was easy to assemble and startup. Only critisim is that the fan blows out and up, should be out and down.

Iam very please with my fireplace it is wonderful and it was so easy to put together. and also please with the way they pack it and when they sent it to me. Thank you Home Depot.

I am not at all happy with the fire place. It had a crack on the bottom front and on the side. The electrical heating part did not work. I did return it and got my full payment back. I will not be buying another through the mail....

We put the fireplace in our family room, it warms the whole room. We love the design it is so pretty and looks like a real fire!

The piece is a beautiful addition to the living room. The oak finish and trim are very high quality. The heater works very well, warming the livingroom very nicely. The look of the fire is very realistic. Many raves from family and friends.

Just a suggestion - you will need to assemble. Open the large box, remove all the parts and take them to where you plan on having the unit. Good heat output, overall a good product.

This unit looks great, took about an hour to assemble. The heater unit works wonderful ! Heats up my 20 ft. x 15 ft. recreation room with ease, ( as long as you keep the room doors closed ). It's the warmest room in the house when it's on. The thermostat on the fireplace goes to 80 degrees. Very nice to look at also. Was extremely worth the money.

I bought this for our master bedroom and its great !! It fits perfectly and adds warmth and charm . It took no time to put together , we bought 2 other fireplaces and I think this is really my favorite one, nice mantel space , lots of heat, and lots of ambience !! I received my fireplace today. I am sooooooooooo happy! It went together easily and when I pluged it in I was in awe! The product is of the highest quality and the flame looks so real it was hard to tell it isn't. My sister and a friend of mine were at my house when I put it together and they both are now going to purchase one. I looked at the darker wood color at Home Depot and decided the oak finish would work better for me and my decor. Either color looks awesome. I searched the internet for several days and probably looked at hundreds of fireplaces before settling on this product. I still can't believe the price, it was an excellent bargain!

Here is my experience: I bought the fireplace with the corner unit, this can be used with or without the corner piece. Think of the versatility! It can be used in the corner or against the wall. There are two pieces to add to the back to make it a corner unit. The fireplace is delivered for free and we opened the box and brought the smaller boxes inside the big box in the house. Very easy to do, nothing was too heavy this way. The big outer box is over 100 lbs. The fireplace comes with easy directions to follow. I have put furniture together over the years. This was easy to follow and the holes were drilled really well so nothing was hard to assemble and get together. It says it is pressed wood. Let me tell you, this looks like real hardwood. The finish is beautiful. The fireplace worked immediately. There's a remote control to turn it on. It blows warm air into the room, feels great! It's easy to use and beautiful in every way. The graphics for the fireplace are realistic. I can not say one bad thing about this piece. It was a great purchase very well made. Do not hesitate to try it in your home. I will recommend this to all my friends.

This is a very nice electric fireplace. It give the family room a warm feeling. It was easy to put together and it heats the room up very nice. The color of the oak is perfect.

I recently purchased this fireplace for my family room which is always cold. I love it. I use it in the corner and it fits perfectly. The associates could not have been more helpful and kind to me when I asked many questions in the store about this fireplace. It is simply beautiful. Well made and very sturdy. It also gives out plenty of heat for my area which is about 400 ft. or a little more.
