This is a reasonable value assuming it really will last. Can't really comment on that yet. The quality of the light is very pleasant and reasonably bright

I used these two 40W equivalent LED bulbs to replace two 40W incandescent bulbs that were placed in table top lamps in our home's entrance foyer and are turned on and off via a timer. The LED replacements produce exactly the same amount of, and the same "soft white" temperature of light that the original incandescent bulbs did. I expect these LED bulbs to reduce our energy consumption sharply. I also anticipate not having to replace these LED bulbs for many, many years.
