I love the way they look. The lights flicker sometimes and takes a while to go from dim to bright. Sometimes the lights will not brighten at all without turning them off and then back on. I did some research and found this is a common problem, many have experience this with dimmers on these lights. I don't know how they will respond without the dimmers. I don't know if I would recommend these lights with dimmers..

I bought 6 of these LED lights and after about 5 months some started flickering. I eventually replaced all of them because of the flickering. They last about 5-6 months before you have to replace them due to seizure inducing flickering. I am now in the process of selecting replacement lights after dealing with these for the last 3-4 years. I have to tear out the cans and install new lights. Thanks Lithonia for such a terrible product!

These were super easy to install and give off great lighting. There is a slight delay when you first turn them on, but that seems to go away once they are warmed up.

I have installed 16 Lithonia recessed kits in the past year, Have not had a single issue with them. Very easy to install.

Overall the lights are great and I would buy again. Other reviews referred to flickering. I grounded the fixtures and used the recommended dimmers. I used Lutron CTCL-153P-WH CONTOUR CFL/LED. They are great switches and adjustable at the low end of the dim. No flickering, no issues. The color of the light is is great and the fixture is easy to install. The fixtures are also approved for insulation contact. The only downside of this product is the junction box attached to the fixture housing is small. If you have multiple wires going in (and sausage size fingers) it is a bit tricky. Just use your needle nose pliers and leave no excess wire in the connection boxes and they are fine. Great lights!

The electrician that installed them was very pleased. The lights look nice and work well with the dimmer switches that were also purchased at HD.

I bought 4 of these and returned all of them after installing one. The clips do not securely attach the unit to the ceiling, and the flange size is too small. The manufacturer should make the clips beefier and the flange wider in order to improve the installation. I ended up buying the Globe 4" led kit instead and even though the Globe unit has only two clips (compared to 3 on the Lithonia), the clips on the Globe work better, and the flange is larger. The Globe is available on the Home Depot website. If you do use the Lithonia, take care to make the hole the exact size, preferably with a hole saw, and likewise take care not to damage the drywall, since there is very little margin for error given the small flange.
