This item that i brought online does not work at all. I am going to return it .

Since it only has one speed, I was a little dismayed at first by how slow it seemed, but the blades are large enough that it moves a fair amount of air around -- and it not only appears to be solidly built but it runs *whisper* quiet.

The fan is very attractive, well constructed and energy efficient. Everything described on the website was delivered on. No, it's not great that it's only one speed, but it was sold as one speed. No, it's not great that it doesn't push air with great force, but it was sold as blowing air gently. The fan is well made and does create a gentle breeze within my camper. Is it the best fan ever made? No. But it's 12 volt and won't kill your battery. Does it do the job intended and improve the level of comfort in a small camper on an hot day? Absolutely!

Very attractive little fan, but doesn't push through as much air as I had expected.

This is a truly quiet little fan. It puts out a surprising amount of airflow and works perfectly to keep me comfy while I sleep. The description said it is an all- metal fan, but it actually has plastic blades. It is still very quiet. It would be nice if it had at least two speeds.

Im a nurse that works in a log term care and sub acute rehab facility. Im cold usually... anywhere else but at work. Between the humidity in the summer and the high dry heat temps in the winter i can break a sweat sitting at the nurses station completing my computer work. I got this fan to use on my med cart. Its size was ideal, it can operate via a usb port which plugs into my laptop (aka "Cow") or in a standard 2 prong wall outlet. It offers a much needed respite from the overbearing temps on my unit. This is my most favorite piece of equipment in my swag bag and less than half the price of my fancy purple Littman cardiac stethoscope that has my name engraved on the bell

Didn't even put out enough air to feel on my hand that was one inch from the front of it. Returned it.

Sophisticated, Quiet, Works great. I have been looking for a small, nice looking (to match my house decor.) all over the stores, and finally tried Home depot, they carry this very special fan. I like it the most are quiet and good looking.

Very, VERY weak little fan. I was hoping for a bit more "oomph". The fan would need to be within 1 foot of your face to have any real effect. The brass coloring looks cool, but the fan is not. I had to double up to an 8 inch fan to fulfill my fanning needs. YMMMV. Happy with the return policy!
