Cheap and flimsy
I bought the hexagon sandbox and the cover a year ago and I regret spending the money as it broke only after 2 times closing the box. The problem is that the poles are made of a cheep and light plastic that is made to look like steal. It is misleading! The poles are very thin and flimsy. The canopy itself is a good and durable material, but the poles are too light and break easily. We live in Chicago suburbs and we have strong winds, so the canopy cannot withstand the wind as the poles are too flimsy! One of the poles broke after a strong wind and as we were trying to put it down to close! This product needs major improvements and too expensive, as it will break within couple months.

Dear Tati, Sorry to hear that the telescoping poles of your sandbox broke due to high wind speeds. The telescoping poles of our sandbox are made out of aluminum, with ABS plastic fasteners used when opening the canopy. We would love to provide you with a replacement part so your family can continue to enjoy your sandbox throughout the summer. Please email Support@Frameitall.com with your order number and requested replacement items and we will have replacement parts sent out ASAP!
    easy to install.
Easy to put on and off between uses. The water does pool on the cover a bit even with the ball in place. There are Velcro strips too but we did not use.

    durable, effective
This cover goes on and off easily. It is durable and effective in keeping rain and critters out. I've bought two - for each of two grandchildren.

    Disappointed
i bought this a month or two ago and it has already broke. the strings have little plastic tabs that hold each end together. it doesnt hold. everyone of them came apart. i lost the string inside the tarp now and cant retrieve it. so..looks like i need a new cover. and YES IT DOES hold water on the sides even when using the beach ball aired up completely. I dont care what the manufacture says..it doesnt work very good. i have pools of water on the sides. Would rather purchase something at this price that would last longer than two months.

We ordered this sandbox for our grandson's birthday. It arrived
We ordered this sandbox for our grandson's birthday. It arrived on time, was very easy to put together, and delighted our grandson and his friends. There were no fewer than 6 kids playing in the sand box at a time, plenty of room for fun! We really like the idea of being able to repurpose the sandbox as a planter when the little ones get older. I have already sent three parents from the party information about Frame It All so they can order a sandbox for their child.

      Pretty good but some cautions
We purchased the square sandbox cover for use on our Two High Square Sandbox. The fit is great with the elastic and drawstring making the edges conform nicely to the box. Under the cover are attachments that loop over the corners of the sandbox. Just need to make sure that the caps on the corners are snugly fit and not loose, or the attachments don't loop properly. The beachball that is included helps to create a tent, but just know that you need to have a good amount of sand in the box or it doesn't keep the cover tented high enough to avoid rain puddles forming. We ran into that problem because we're running low on sand right now, but it's easy enough to fix.

        Adequate sandbox cover
I bought the cover for the sandbox last year but needed to replace it after a wisconsin winter, as animals had chewed holes in it. I needed a cover for the sandbox to keep it from becoming the "litter box" for the neighbor wildlife. It does keep the animals out. It also does a good job of keeping the sand dry. It does help to put a beachball in each corner to keep the water from pooling.

It is nice to have a cover for the sand box, and it does appear to keep the water out. However the water does puddle in the low spots and it drains in the box when you try to lift it off. Better then nothing though.

The manufacturer includes an inflatable beach ball with each sandbox cover to use to prevent rain water pooling. If used each time the cover is put in place, then any rain water should run right off the cover.

          safe and secure
I was skeptical to spend the $ on a cover, but it really is secure at the corners. No animals will get in there. The fabric and drawstrings are quite secure - just be sure the strings are tucked in when you mow the grass. Water does puddle on the tarp-like fabric when it rains, but you can buy more cheap beach balls from the dollar store to put under the cover to lift it more all over.

            Just OK
I was so thrilled to find a sandbox cover for the sandbox I purchased from Home Depot! It seemed to be perfect for the first couple of uses, but then it rained. The edges had pools of water sagging into the sandbox, and the sand inside became so damp that it is too difficult for my son to play in. Even though it is stretched and secured around the edges, the moisture is still getting into the sand.
