Placed the product between two 4"x4" wood deck railing posts that lead to our above ground pool, thus satisfying the 4' fence requirement by our local building inspector and avoiding the need to add two self closing gates from our deck to the grass. it's very sturdy, but I needed to add 4"x4" pieces underneath the deck boards between the joists so there was enough wood to drill through. It took a few hours to add the 4x4 pieces, but after drilling the holes it was definitely a solid install, and totally closes off the pool from the rest of our deck making it very safe for kids and/or dogs. Make sure you use some kind of level to drill the holes straight, I just used the level on my drill. I angled the end posts very slightly outward to add more tension on the fence, and it worked out great because the tension actually makes the ends stand straight up. Very easy to place/remove the fence by an adult, you just roll it up and place out of the way when the pool is in use. It works very well for our needs.

Since I had existing holes it was easy to install, and I was able to easily modify to fit perfectly.

I haven't opened these 2 boxes. The original boxes had holes and were delivered with loose washers and nuts on top of boxes!

I used this fence to put around my patio area to keep my small dogs safe. Was easy to install into paving stones with mason bit. Came with measuring stick for fool proof drilling distance. Can remove in the winter or when not needed.

Put this around our pool...gets the job done. Wish it came with extra plug inserts in case you want to drill extra holes for When fence is open but great product!
